OK I just quickly took a look at the shower head (could just unscrew it without a wrench)...removed it and ran the water, and the pressure it still extremely weak. So it looks like my problem isn't the head, but rather the pressure itself.

I'll take a video of it and post a link here later tonight or tomorrow.

Also, I'll get some plyers tomorrow and see if I can get that regulator thing out, just to make the shittiness a little better. I'll try to remove it by hand first later tonight, though. F you.

Atleast make the video good, water splashing off a nice hooker's tits would be good.

lets narrow it down to two things- your place or your floor, i know this will be tough but it's a must, go next door and ask to check their pressure in their home, if it's strong then the problem is in your home if it's weak then there's a problem on your floor. btw what floor do you live on?

I've got a guy who can get you a killer shower head on the black market...the Commando 450. They use it to wash elephants.
But Jerry couldn't handle that.

OK seriously,

The filter head in the shower screen could be clogged, check the head.

Either move or buy a little in line pump to boost the pressure.

I would use as a line to get to shower around.

Iv'e Been A Plumber Now For 21yrs And What Oldman Fred & Fat Tony Tell You Are The Correct Answers, If Omf Is Right Not Much You Can Do About It But Most Likely Fat Tony Is Right And You Only Have To Remove The Shower Head From The Shower Arm And Remove The Restrictor. Even If Youre Totaly Retarted You Can Pull This Off. Gl

I'm not the level of plumber of a teddykgb, but this sounds wrong !

I never seen a showerhead that you could loosen by hand, always needed at least an adjustable wrench,channel-lock pliers,vice-grips or something like that.

It sounds very screwed up, if pressure sucks with the head off... as in it ain't the shower ruiner restrictor doohickey thingamaboob causing the problem.

Are you sure you removed the whole showerhead ? If you did that, with no tools you have some strong hands !

Is it just a pipe with some threads sticking out of the wall ?

Is the flow like as bad as the Youtube video that I linked, half a gallon a minute ?

Document it with video, break the lease if necessary, its ridicrurous if they can't fix it, so as you can take a Fucking halfway decent shower.

As a former landlord, I'd take in a tenant with video showing me his shower didn't work causing him to need to vacate the former rental unit.

It's a basic expectation in the USA.

I feel bad for you

Here's the video of me removing the shower head just by unscrewing it with my hand, and then the pressure itself without the head attached. I realized afterwards that the video is sideways...f you, you still get the motherfucking idea.

Teddy and others, what do you think? Oh, and I live on the 4th floor of a 4-story building. I think it's a pretty old building.

I hear ya...that's the worst thing. It's simply not possible to take a quick shower. I'm in there for fucking 20 minutes minimum. It's ridiculous.

Tomorrow I'm gonna ask my neighbor if I can check out the water pressure in his unit, to see if it's better. I'll update then.

In the meantime, this shit sucks. Pressure is about as strong as Wilheim's urine stream...or so Iceman says.

It has to be the corrogated steel pipes that go from the water main on the street into your building. If they are 40-50 years old then the corrosion will be stopping 50% or more of the water flow.
