Most anyone can do with your IP is find out your provider and what the host city is.

It's a top secret. They ain't telling.
A few weeks ago someone (in computer room) asked about "spy programs". My limited reading said one would need to click on something to activate such a thing. But this is the computer age and "buyer beware" is my approach.

Yeah, if you had some kind of unpatched security hole and someone knew how to exploit it, it's possible. We aren't talking about something that's even remotely simple though.

p.s. Everyone that you send an email to also has your IP address.
