OT-Question about Star Wars

Yeah, I think re-working the original episodes was very tacky in that specific instance.

How have you not seen any of these movies? The original Star Wars has only been on TV about 4,567 times. Did you not ever date a girl? Did you not ever go out and see a movie with friends? Have you ever left your computer or your house? I can't believe you didn't see any of these with a sibling or some other relative. Good Lord man, get out of the house once in a while.

I normally equate Star Wars with someone who does not date, does not leave his computer and does not get out of the house much. To each his own. Those Star War sci-fi movies are just not for me. As stated above, I was normally outside chasing bitches playing basketball, football, and baseball. I did not have the time to track these movies.

When you get to IV V VI, make sure you watch the originals and not the George Lucas updated ones. There are added scenes but there are also unwelcome deletions and alterations IMHO.

Seen tons and tons of movies, but not in any way shape or form a sci-fi fan. When I was young I was always playing basketball, football or baseball or working women, so if anything I was not home enough to catch this movie. Parents were not big fans either, I guess as the topic wasn't brought up. Didn't care to see a lot of movies back then. There have been many times I have seen it on tv but I always like to watch things from the start. Always a movie I wanted to see worse if me and my many girlfriends over the years hit the video store. To call me out as a loser because I haven't seen star wars is silly. What is worse, lying cheating and stealing as a bonus whore multiple account holder or not seeing star wars? You might ask yourself that. As I start to get older, I am willing to give more things a chance and feel it is time to give these a chance. Hopefully, I like it as much as most do.

Geez Royalfan do you have a complex or something? Where did I call you out as a loser? And how did this get to be a discussion about bonus whoring? You need to relax and not be so much on the offensive. What I do in the gambling world really seems to affect your life. I do not lie cheat and steal. I play when bonuses are available much like everyone else here including you. You really need to loosen up and enjoy life. I really feel sorry for you in a sincere way. Carry on

Watched the Phantom Mennace this morning. It was far better than I anticipated. Got through it in one sitting and one minor doze off. If this is one of the worst of the bunch, I am looking forward to the rest. I think watching in order was the right move from what I can gather so far.

I could have done without that ultra annoying character and I wish at times the characters were easier to understand. Those were two things that could have been better, but all in all, a fairly enjoyable two and a half hours. Keira is smokin hot which helps cancel that goofy annoying freak character.

I started to read this thread then decided to just comment on your initial comment in box #1...I am a life long Star Wars enthusiest and you could not have said it better!! you do owe it to yourself to watch all 6 episodes, especially while they are on demand. I would guess your question was answered too here, that you should not watch them in their release dates but watch them in chronological order!!
