Hi,

Has anyone got any experience using any learn-from-home language course on either Audio CD or DVD, and if so what would you recommend ?

I quite fancy learning Spanish and the 2 main course I have been looking at are the Michael Thomas one, and Rosetta Stone so if anyone has used either of these then I would be interested to know how successful they were - though of course if someone has used a different one that worked then that would be handy as well.

The main difference in these is the price with the Rosetta Stone one being much more expenisive than Michael Thomas' one, but at the end of the day if the more expensive one is that much superior than the other one then I will probably get it anyway...

The rosetta stone is great. I would recommend downloading it on bit torrent for free. You can get all 3 levels for free.
