OT: IPHONE 3G. what do I need to do after I sold Iphone 3G?

I was able to get Iphone 3G from ATT website (premier member).
I got one today and plan to sell it. so I can bet more on NCAAF. hno:

But after I sold, what do i need to do?
I will keep my old phone so 2yr contract deal is not matter to me.

anyone knows?

I have tmobile and u can change out the sim card to any phone and its no big deal. Dont know about At&T

yea, that I did before when I got new phone.

but this time, IPHONE needs to be activate first before using it.
I just got the activation process, and it needs my number.
so....

But buyers said that dont activate it. so..gosh...

Doesn't ATT think that I have IPhone even after I sell IPHONE?
and need to cancel unlimited data service..

well,
ATT said that IPHONE requires special SIM card for it.
so my old SIM will not work.
and IPHONE 3G requires activation before I can start using it.

now I have IPhone and new sim card.
and I have unlimited data service (it is required to have IPHONE).

question is that.
1. do I need to activate it before I sell?
2. If I did, then how can I go back to my old SIM CARD? and what do I need to tell ATT?
3. Can I just ask ATT to cancel unlimited DATA service since I am not using IPHONE?

Now are u staying w/ a previous version of the I-phone...if so u don't have to do anything just sell the phone.

I upgraded on t-moblie from a Sidekick to a Sidekick Slide and didnt have to change sim cards. The sim card is the main thing that is linked to you. You cannot sell the sim card but you can the phone

1. You don't need to activate it by plugging it into iTunes. Whoever buys it can do that. You need to pull your sim so they don't use your plan/minutes.

Just copy one of the good auctions for your phone (8, 16, white), make you state it's brand new but no SIM card.

Should get 800$ or so if 16gb. If you are technical you can jailbreak it/unlock it from ATT and get an exra 100 or so.
