OT: How Many Of You "GAMBLE" While Away On Vacation?

Since I mostly vacation in Vegas you'd think I wouldn't have to call in any bets, but that's wrong. Sometimes I find better lines offshore. another thing is how well I'm doing gambling in Vegas. If I've got a fat wallet, I don't mind throwing some bets in there as I can collect right away. But if I'm running short, I like to keep some money on me for gambling in Vegas. Being short or worse yet broke in Vegas is almost like death!

i traveled across the US one summer with baseball wagers. just kept going as I kept winning. the division at the company i worked for dissolved and there was no where to move to in the company. unemployed just at the start of summer and instead of getting back in the rat race... I met a hot chick with no real ties and we just left renting cars, staying at hotels, etc..

I usually call in my wagers while on vacation. But I definitely bet while on vacation

Sure, but more often it's a matter of "Bet'em amd forget 'em" (i.e. not watching games or checking scores till the next day).

Heck, often I do better that way and it sure is less stressful!

Taking a week off from gambling is like trying to time the stock market. The week you take off from gambling, maybe the best week of the current year to make money.

Bottom line, making money never takes a vacation.

During this time of the year...NO.

It's during college football or NFL then Yes. I will generally look at the schedule coming up while I am gone and pick a couple key match ups and then check the lines while I am gone. If I like the line somewhat, then I will cap the game and go from there.
