This is indeed pretty scary, but I guess it could have been a lot worse.

After all, at least Pinny generates your USERNAME for you so it was only the password they got which can be changed.

The point is, how many of you sign up for multiple books and have the same username and password for each of them, I know I used to (used to up until about 30 minutes ago when I went and changed all the passwords!)

Still worrisome though :icon_conf

All my passwords are unique so I guess I'll have the postcard with my old Pinny password in my mail when I get home in 2 months.

At least Pinny moved fast once they were compromised, even apparently to the extent of locking guys out who didn't change password within a few hours.

I really doubt anyone is leaving pinny. Or maybe they'll be back in a few months or so.

Think I got that too but tossed right away like I do most junk mail. Think my password was there on front but didn't register with me at the time. I do get sports offers occasionally with a sportsbook account where my name should be but never my password.

I dont think this is any reason to quit playing at pinnacle. They corrected the problem. What more do you want? Its impossiable not to have a bad employee every once in a while. Just be glad Pinnacle do all the things necesary to fix the problem.

I wouldn't even consider quitting Pinnacle for that reason. My password needed changing a long time ago, something more of us should do regularly.

Not a chance would I quit Pinnacle. They are the best. They had a breach of security and corrected it immediately.

This is probably why Pinnacle had everyone change thier password awhile back.

Not sure if that was said or not, but I can almost guarentee that is what happened.

Right, but as I stated earlier.....the employee breach of security is not why I am leaving Pinnacle, that does happen. It is the fact that they didn't bother to divulge this as the reason for changing the passwords and that no one from Pinnacle has at least come in here to explain the situation. If Pinnacle would've been upfront, they wouldn't have lost my business.......it's the fact that they have never given me an explanation. Sorry, to me accountability is a big part of online gambling.

Can't imagine what you would have said If Royal was in the middle of this

Red Eye, you are just a tool. The owner of BetRoyal has swindled millions, but you don't give a fuck.

Have you heard the latest from the swindler extraordinaire? He owes hundreds of thousands to bettors that want their money. The money is not there. Attempts to sell the once respected book have fallen through.

But you keep shilling for them here.

I don't shill for know one, just pointing out that you seem to be a Moral Compass for Sportsbooks on this site, but you bascically give Pinnacle a free pass here on this issue. If Royal would have sent the card you would have had a field day. As far as Shilling for a book, I have never told anyone to play or deposit $$ anywhere, just reporting my experiences. If you want to Quote me,can you get your facts right and not Post inconsistantly and cover up mistakes from shops that you do play at.

Red Eye, I was able to get in contact with Simon at Pinnacle and he is looking into the issue.

(Just wanted to let you know that I didn't blow off your request)
