We have had $3.00 + gas in Hawaii for almost a year now. I am laughing my ass off at all you guys bitching about it like its something new. Join the club :nohead:

Here in Costa Rica the price is .97 cents a liter for super which runs about $3.63 a gallon

Not the same at all. if you have your choice of coming down with a case of the crabs, oysters, or clams. Don't pick crabs unless you like itching alot. :missingte

I just traded my 4 runner (22 mpg) for a Sequoia (16 mpg) 4 months ago. $40 to fill the tank on one and now $70 to fill the tank on the new one... same miles per tank.

no wonder the auto repair industry is in a shambles.

cars in general are the biggest waste of money....between outrageous insurance rates and fuel doubling, SUV's getting 12 MPG, I can't understand why anyone would own an SUV anymore...I never will again.

when I left the good ol' usa in 2000, it was 80 cents a gallon in some places I knew.
