Any of you guys see this documentary? Pretty interesting story if you haven't. In short, Australian chick gets caught smuggling 10 lbs of weed into Indonesia and is put on trial with a possible death sentence.

Watched it over the weekend. I enjoyed it and thought it really showed how fucked up the worlds legal systems, and views on soft drugs are.....

Only thing that seems a possibility is a relative dumping some shit in there without her knowledge. Because she dam sure doesn't seem the type built to take a ride for someone else without ratting if she knew what was going on. Not for 20+years not many could.

her sister seems a little shady. I read a bit more about it after watching it and there is a school of thought that the weed was for her sister and her surfboard renting husband. Though, as you said, she doesn't seem the type to take the fall for someone else without cracking. In any event, she is either the dumbest person alive or one of the unluckiest.

I was channel surfing and got hooked into this documentary. I have to think that she was set up either by a relative or some drug mule. Just watching her hyperventilate while waiting for her sentence was chilling. They should do a follow up in a few years on how she's coping with prison life.:smoking:

Man I wished I was locked up with her not the best of looks but if you locked up for 20 years better looking than bubba for sure. Ture she is a great actor if she did smuggle the drugs. Pretty bad things happen in other countries I had a buddy that got in a fight in Mexico one time and was almost convicted of attemped Murder because the other guy had a bloodly nose. US Govt. didn't do shit to help his family had to come up with about 250k to get him out of jail and promise he would never return to the country. I think it was the never return part that was hard on him...(lol) Shit he moved out of Texas becuase it was to close to Mexico for him.
