Cops are like the CHP or LAPD, etc. The greatest video I saw was a cop justifying why she was stealing clothes at walmart when hurricane Katrina flooded New Orleans. That was a prime example of why I don't trust them. I guess that could be a "situational" judgement but I was reading a CNN article a few years back and they were talking about "most trusted people". The military ranked the highest and cops were really low... it didn't suprise me.
But I will say this HOW, your job in the military probably saved my life twice when I was in Saudi Arabia. Those sneeky fuckers tried a few attacks on our base but the Military Police stopped them.

That's cuz up here the cops don't have to worry about crime...it's such a safe area that all they have to pay attention to are drunk drivers, people who are speeding, and kids with weed. Wouldn't say I hate them. Don't trust them and don't think they are better than anyone else. The guys who were real assholes in Jr high and high school were the ones who went on to be cops.
Last time I got arrested (about 6 years ago) was when I tried to sell some extra tickets outside of Fenway on a Sunday afternoon. The undercover cop had me in cuffs as we waited for a police car. He asked me if I'd been arrested before. I told him "yes, in 1985 I blew a .07". He said " .07, why didn't they just let you go?". I replied "because they were about as reasonable as you".

Denver cops are the WORST-it doesn't matter if you are in a suit & tie. They deal with primarily minorities & that has apparently REALLY given them a tude. I got a "baby dui(.05-.09)" in the city and got roughed up a bit. I was totally cooperative until I dropped a "What the fuck was that for" on the prick after getting the elbow smash to the back of the head to get my face onto the hood.
Ironically, I got a "that was uncalled for" and a 20 minute drive around before the breath test by the cop hauling me in.
They beat the shit out of everyone. I have a friend who had been in a couple bar confrontations in the city & has ended up in the slammer twice. Everyone is beat up...some a LOT worse than others, but it's WELL known that the Denver cops beat you down first & ask questions later.
Thank God I now live in the burbs-it's a different story out here.

Sounds like PG County outside of DC! Eventhough the county is 80% Black, the police force is still run like the 'old days'! Every brother in the whole metro area knows that if you get popped in PG you know you're in serious s##t!TTinCO said:

The Ontario Provincial Police are the worst meter maids on the planet.
That prick of a Stephen Harper ( now our Prime Minister) promised to put 1000 more police on the streets in Ontario, well he did. The 401 and all 400 series highways are now so clusterfucked with the new recruits that places they were inteded for like TORONTO have yet to see any increase in police presense to tackle the gang crime and et al.
The OPP should be dibanded the way they treat everyone form a jay walker to a kid with a gagger in his pocket as being lower than they are.
And if you need a cop when you need one, why the fuck does it take the dick 2 hours to show up, too busy giving the minors with heads full of extacy rides home from the bar......hhhmmmm " I won't bust you little girl so let me give you a ride home in my car".. and she wonders why her ass is so damn sore in the morning.

Your story is the prime example of why I dislike cops... then the other day on the DC news I hear about a black girl that got her ass beat on a DC bus by some gang members and no cop came to the rescue. The girl could have died. So it just annoys me at the complacency and the concern for petty crimes instead of the larger on going crimes.
