With Brock, Lamar Miller and that defensive (they could use a #2 receiver), they look to repeat as division champs

They also signed guard Jeff Allen from KC.

Brock only has 7 games played, but anything is an upgrade over what they currently have. They can now use the #22 pick on a d-lineman or a #2 receiver. I also think they need secondary help.

Jets got Forte, damn

Nice fit with Fitzpatrick. He loves the short/intermediate throws.

If they keep him, if Brock got that then his price tag just went up.

If you're referring to the post by OneZero he was talking about Houston.

Texans could still use o-line help as well.

Stupid decision by Osweiller and even dumber move by Texans but they are desperate.

He is negotiating like he is some super star. 18 million a year. Except for 3 or 4 guys, he may be the highest paid qb in the league.

Really? Stupid for trying to get as much money as you can in a sport where your career ends on one snap and you're not guaranteed the rest of the contract?

Goes to show how few good QB's there are in the league. No way Osweiler worth that kind of money. Look at what the Eagles paid Chase Daniel as a back-up. $21 million for years with incentives that could get it to $36 million. $12 million is guaranteed. You know any other back-ups getting that kind of money.

Brock will shit the bed , bust city

Based on what? He could shit the bed, he could be average, he could be pretty good. Do you have inside knowledge that the rest of us don't? Did they overpay? Of course, QB's are always overpaid. Has he proven anything? No, but what other options did the Texans have, Hoyer? Hoyer is a backup, nothing more.

As P. Manning showed us this past year, a team can win without a dominant QB. Does it help? Of course. The signing of Lamar Smith is huge, and Houston needs to improve it's o-line and get a tight end.

What kind of QB were they going to get with pick #22? I think in this case signing him made sense, and yes, they were desperate for anyone who resembles an NFL QB.

Only time will tell how it works out, but at least they might possibly have something other than an endless line of backups playing QB.
