SHERMAN- key may not be the RIGHT term............but -7 is arguabbly the most singnificant number you will ever wager in and around in the NBA and everybody here should be aware of that.

I think what fishy is trying to say is that games end with a 7 point difference more often than any other number.

Think 3 possessions at the end of the game, a team down 7 will not foul and let the clock run out.

If they are only down 6, its 2 possession and they foul etc.

Although fish is right, 7 does land a little more than most numbers, its nothing staggering.:smoker2:

Just trust me on this one, the number 7 in the NBA is very very significant............as most experts in this field will point to it as being such more than any other number.

Even if it isnt the ABSOLUTE most significant, the fact it is VERY important should be very important to you and others.

There is no doubt in my mind that it is the MOST significant number.

In this case, if you liked the favorite, you should have made a point to make CERTAIN you did not lay over -7.............as it is up to -7.5 and -8 now.

Totally agree with you here about 7 being a very key number in hoops. The reason why has a lot to do with what Pancho was explaining earlier in this thread.
