Best deal to stay is condo timeshare rental deal. Ebay has lots of good deals and this other place www.timesharesbyowner.com or something like that. Google for timeshare rentals. Beware the timeshare salesman scams. They are everywhere offering free tickets, reduced etc. If you dont mind be hasseled for entire morning though might be worth it. My Mom got a great place on beach in Daytona for 500 for week. 2br/bath with lots of room and kichen. Beats small hotel rooms easily. My fav park is Universal, Isle Adventure. If you have kids Magic Kingdom a must. Epcot boring for kids too. Depends on age of kids.

If you're looking for classic Disney experience - Magic Kingdom.

If you're looking for a nice hangout with the significant other, some good dining, etc - Epcot. Great restaurants. (Mexico, China, France, etc etc)

If you're looking for an intense water park - Blizzard Beach

If you're looking for a little more relaxed water park - Typhoon Lagoon. (I think thats the name). (More trees, easier, unintense water rides)

If you're looking for some movie experience - MGM/Universal.

If you're looking for some intense roller coasters - Islands of Adventure

Funny that you mention that Kyhawk. I just jumped into the timeshare rental market myself. Found a hell of a deal for a 2 bed/2 bath in Cancun for the week of April 15th.....cost about 35% of what it would direct from the resort-and I'm talking 5 star baby!!!

If you are looking for tourist road---International Drive

If you are looking for the best all around academics and sports school in the World drive about 1.5 hours north on the Turnpike and eventually I-75 until you hit Gainesville.

I used to go to Saks downtown Orlando--decent comedy show but dont know if it is still around. Like Downtown Orlando at night.

If you want to look like a Neanderthal--get one of those turkey legs near Splash Mountain.

If you want you or your date to have to run to the bathroom 30 minutes after a meal in a romantic setting eat at Mexico at Epcot.

This is true.

They also have "The Walk" or something of that nature. Google it. It's all clubs and bars if you want some late night action. Margaritaville, etc. I think its a Disney property or one of those types of deals. Not some random downtown area.

For the party scene go downtown Orlando to Church St. and slide into Makos and see the swing girls. Bar is full of eye candy. If your staying down near Disney then CityWalk at Universal is the choice. Several bars with Nascar cafe,NBA cafe,Hard Rock Live, Margrarittaville, and some more but after the first few I'm half polluted and don't make the whole tour. APPLE

ORLANDO, Florida (Reuters) - A 49-year-old German woman died after riding a rocket simulator at Walt Disney World's Epcot theme park in Florida, the second person to die in less than a year after riding on Mission: SPACE, state officials said on Thursday.
State regulators said Disney had told them the woman, who died Wednesday evening, may have had some prior health problems including high blood pressure and chronic headaches. Disney did not identify the woman, and authorities did not say the cause of death. Terence McElroy, a spokesman for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, said Disney closed the ride for an inspection overnight after the woman was taken to the hospital. The attraction uses spinning centrifugal force to create the sensation of a rocket launch.

"They didn't see anything out of the ordinary," McElroy said. "Disney was satisfied that it was behaving normally."
Mission: SPACE reopened to the public on Thursday morning, Disney said in a statement.
In June 2005, 4-year-old Daudi Bamuwamye of Pennsylvania died after riding Mission: SPACE with his mother and losing consciousness.
An autopsy by a Florida Medical Examiner's Office determined that Bamuwamye had an undiagnosed heart defect which put him at risk of sudden death under stress. Mission: SPACE was inspected by Disney after Bamuwamye's ride, found to have no mechanical problems and also reopened the following
