Opinions on SportsInterAction (SIA)?

Currently, I have an account at Pinnacle. I've also have an account at Olympic, but it's not funded. I like both these places, but I find that Pinny tends to have "sharp" lines.

I like to bet dogs and against the public. SportsInterAction (SIA) seems like a good out to have. I've already lost about 1K to a internet book that closed a few years ago, so don't want to get bit again.

Opinions on SIA appreciated. Mainly, do they payout in a timely manner? Are they stable?

Thanks!

-Only Use Neteller.
-Do no expect 'friendly' customer service.
-It is normal for payouts to take up to 1 week or more....

-best dog lines on the net nar none hands down....

SIA has been known to cancel winning bets. They are a crooked operation. Stay away.

They used to have very nice lines for NFL dogs and you can still find good bets some times.
Not exactly a safe out, though.
They stole some of my money some time ago.
There have been reports of slow pay, but normally they will pay you.
Make your own decision.

sia has the best dogs lines i have ever seen. i played there for the first 3 weeks of football and got paid out over $4,500. it was a little bit of a pain in the ass but, they paid me the whole thing.

maybe i expect everyone to be like pinnacle and olympic and pay you in 10 minutes. it was worth waiting a week to get those lines however.

SIA thanks you for keeping the sharp players away.
You are doing them a service and hurting Rxers who
would otherwise post up with them.

All the more for you to enjoy who still play there &
can take advantage of the free money they offer.

Chuck Sims claims they stole from him when in
fact it was his misunderstanding of three way
boxing lines wherein sides lose on a draw. I don't
know what majbrit's claim is about - never heard
of it before.

SIA report card:

Customer Service = C
Lines = A+
Payouts record = A
Payout speed = C

Yours truly has recieved around 100K in payouts
via Western Union, Regular mail check & wire.

Bottom line:

If SIA isn't one of your top 5 outs, you are probably
missing a lot if not a living.

Thank You SIA

X-Files is Bang on (although Customer Service is more like a D-)...

HOWEVER...

SIA is a must have out for 100$ to 500$ players....

Dont beleive me?

Check out their NFL odds right now

Bears + 10 +100
Bills +6 +105
Clev +3 +105
Jags +4.5 +100

SS-

It is one of those risk reward type things. They are good for underdog however customer service is a nightmare. I bet between 200-400 on my plays over there and haven't had any problem.

I think they are pretty solid financial because anybody really sharp would go nuts there and not be able to play or get paid.

Fly beneath the radar and you will be fine and have patience at payout time. They also have great futures prices.

The futures and propositions have caused problems and I would stay clear of them. Otherwise OK for bread and butter bets under a nickle.

Bears +10 was good for a side.

Win about $15,000 there & you are booted. You will get your money though but are no longer welcomed there. If you want to play there for awhile, it is best to play through friends. I have nailed them for winning margins but haven't got booted for a reason ;)

Not to mention CLEV +105....

Bears + 10 +100 Could have been played against Philly -8.5-110 (free 1/2 point shops)....

I missed it though as I loaded up on Colts -3.5 -102 & Jags + 4.5 +100....

I wish I had split it down the middle....

I packed in there

I packed in there after they settled a 2003 Wimbledon prop which a lot of punters took at 32 to 1 pre tourney.

Two weeks later they "regraded" the now winning bets to 8 to 1. I was not affected because I only ever put on plain vanilla bets with them, knowing their reputation for thievery on other lines.

If you decide to go there I recommend:

1. Keep your balance to reasonable limits to avoid the need if you keep winning for a big withdrawal, they are not keen on these and drag them out.

2. Never bet any prop for any reason.

3. Use Neteller as there is less scope for their delaying tactics.

4. Expect non-existent customer service.

5. Do not expect their server to work on a Sunday during foots between 1200 and 1300 EST.

I've played there for many years. my second book in fact. I just returned after about a 6-month abscence ( that may be a good tactic ).

Posters SS, WoodyO, EGD, and Ppup know how to play there.

Here's what has always perplexed me about them:

They have these unreal dog lines ( esp. NFL) . It didn't happen on Chiefs, but often does. OK, take Bears +10 +100 over Philly ( push). I think that generally closed 9-9.5, maybe a stray 10 -110 with a free half, but not +10 even anywhere else ( bet it ).

Now who is backing Eagles -10 -120, gotta be the worst possible line. I can't see $500 bets coming on that line. I see sharps taking back Bears in $500 chunks.

So where does SIA get the chalk action ? I must conclude they have armies of $20 bettors. It's the only explanation that makes any sense to me. How they all wind-up at SIA , is a mystery to me.

SIA could gamble on this by taking the money at bad odds ( to public) or even sell it off to a bigger book ( cheaper than their dog prices). They don't, so maybe they just want equal action, and are fiscally responsible ?

It must have something to do with being in Canada. Wagerstreet is only other Canadian book I can think of, maybe Bodog ???

I'll never figure em' out. However as others said... use Neteller only, no props, careful on futures... just the regular stuff I never had to wait too long for payment ( one exception), no more than a week ( back when they mailed checks ).

I had a problem with them maybe 3-4 years ago. It was ridiculous ( their position). I bet on NHL playoffs. I had some about +400 dog in a 1st round series. It won. They didn't want to pay it until a Stanley cup champion was declared ( nearly 2 months later). I got it resolved with the help of McIrish, or Sherwood, or somebody, in about 2 weeks. It was so long ago , I've forgotten who assissted me. I'll attribute it to just general imcompetence on the part of SIA. Their take was ludicrous. What would eventual champ have to do with a 1st round series, the bet was won when series was over !:finger: :finger: :finger:

Unreal, Blue. A month ago, you were about to quit betting and get a part-time job at K-Mart. Now, you won your Cubs bet and cashed out $4,500 in the first 3 weeks of football. Congrats!

thanks illini. i wasn't really about to quit though. i was just pissed off because i dropped $1,500 in two weeks playing baseball totals that i thought i had an edge on. only to find out that my logic was tragically flawed. i just vented here, took a few weeks off then found sia.

its been a nice ride so far in football. college has been very strong but getting slapped around pretty good in the nfl. even with sia's lines on the nfl, i have been losing there the last two weeks. here is what i bet there last week in the nfl:

jacksonville +4.5 +100 (everyone else had 3.5)
cincy +6 +100 (everyone else had 5.5)
buffalo + 6 -110 (everyone else had 4.5)
giants +7.5 -115 (everyone else had 6)
arizona +3.5 +105 (everyone else had 3)
san fran +4 +100 (everyone else had 3.5)

went for a double pop on san fran and got burned. still, you can't beat those lines.

Okay, couldn't resist getting a second account. Opened one at SIA. I'm a small player so I thought it'd be okay. First mistake, used my credit card. Now I'm getting cheated. Here is my account history (only 1 week old).

They subtracted $5 from my voided Bears +10 bet. Subtracted $50 from my winning San Diego +3 bet, then another $10 and $30 from voided Bears +10 bets. They subtracted from other bets that I won!

What the hell? From my math, I should have $862 in my account, but it only shows $504.

I wrote their

How can their computer system make this mistake? Will this be corrected, or am I in deep Sh^t?

A VERY UNHAPPY new SIA customer! Just what I feared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had problems with SIA, but never the type you describe & I have been there for 3 years ++

Print your account statement out on a piece of paper & go through everything carefully & slowly....

If it turns out there is a mistake call them.... may take you a while to explain but they all speak good english & woudnt be able to aruge with Black & white would they?

Please keep us posted & good luck....

If you need a mediator I beleive that they advertise at sports911? not sure? maybe someone else can chime in...
