That Red Sox game, for the people who bet on the Red Sox like me, I feel your pain... That game was something else, I really couldnt even sleep at all last night...

$500 in my account now..

Right now Yankees are at -235 and
Twins are at +195 for tonight..
Over/Under 8.5 runs
Run Line Yankees -1.5(-110)

If you were to place it all on one team, what would it be and give clear reasons why..

Do you see how big of a discrepency there is between the reg line -235 and the runs line -110...Does that make sense to you? It doesnt to me....Take the twins +1.5 runs....

play it safe,over 8.5 as petite and radke will give up atleast 4 runs each

EDG, you think the yankees are a lock why not parly the game with another game you love and if that game goes later (like tommarrow) and you win the yankee game then hedge your bet if you want too because thats alot of wood or you can always bet the run line

I got the Twins run line at +120 which i considered to be great value (from a local). So that's what i took. I like the under too.

This line for the Yanks is too high due to NY being a popular team from a large metro area. Anytime you have an ace going for a team like that you'll get an inflated line.

Also, I think a lot of people look at Radke's record (14-10) and think he's no match for Pettitte. Radke is greatly improved and has gone 9-1 since the All-Star Game. I'm with AceT and rscl31 as far as the +1.5 RL on the Twins. Anytime you have a good pitcher as an underdog the RL should be looked at since it will be harder for the favored team to win by 2 runs or more.

I also like the UNDER 8.5 here with 2 good pitchers pitching in the playoffs. That often leads to a pitcher's duel.

Hindsight is 20/20. You can't go wrong with that. I know you're just having fun.

If you look at the ERA's for each pitcher it certainly had a better chance to be a pitcher's duel. Pedro pitched at 3.86 ERA for the game and Hudson at 4.05 ERA. Not completely out of line.

By the way, I went 3-1 +1.95 yesterday. Thank you very much.
