What are you seeing in the Gators this year? Their offense is horrible & could not match scores with most of the top teams. I love their defense but it could only do so much.

Let me understand your thinking ... USC beats Arkansas 50-14 at Arkansas but you have elevated them from # 11 to somehow leapfrogged USC who just destroyed Oregon 35-10 ?

Gators offense is still racking up 300-400 yards a game. They are having missed field goals, INTs in the red zone, and penalties to pull them out of the red zone every game. It's not like they are getting shut down offensively.

*IF* they get those miscues corrected, their offense has nowhere to go but up right now and their defense has proven it can go out and win football games.

Gators offense clearly isnt clicking and they arent playing like a top 5 team right now at all, OFFENSIVELY, but they are 100% a top 5 team if they can start hitting their stride in these next few games and 100% have top 5 talent on their team.

Their offense hasn't clicked all season. They have benefited from short fields a ton of times. They are putting up good #'s but can't complete. They get into scoring position & wilt up. Their offense isn't going to click fast enough for them to compete with a USC, Ohio St, etc....

It's just red zone miscues for them. The offense is chewing up yardage and like you said wilting in the red zone.

Fortunately, that is something that can be fixed overnight. Mostly mental mistakes of throwing INT's in the red zone, fumbling, and penalties.

If they start cashing those in they get back to beating everyone by double digits, and they go back to being one of the most balanced teams in the country and back on everyone's hype radar.

I don't know if they can though. Every time I watch them, their offense does not look sharp. The play calling is also beyond ridiculous especially when Tebow comes in the game.

Urban imo is overrated as the Gators coach.
