Opening numbers-- WHERE?

QUESTION-

What does everybody use as a guidance for themselves as their BASIC opening number for all the different sports?

What source.....DB, CRIS, STARDUST,OLY, LVSC, ETC., ETC?????......and where do you find these numbers after they have been open for a period of time?

Think this info could be useful to many here.
