I have been disappointed at the level of non activity in addressing the Ewinner.com situation. As many of you know Ewinner last week went out of business or so it appears taking tens of thousands of players money with them. I first because aware of Ewinner.com at this site due to the banner and some contests also saw them at some other sites. I signed up and became a customer.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

They have up and stolen from me and likely others.

Yet on this forum, as far as I can tell, there has been no effort to either

1. Find out the true story on ewinner.com, where the financial backers are, who they are, how to find them.

2. No efforts for the Rx leadership to send out a request form the other advertisers looking for help with a bail out or partial bail out or transfer of funds of ewinner customers to help stabilize the industry.

3. No efforts from the Rx leadership to dig in to this and see if anything can be done to help the customers.

4.. there has been 1000x times more thought, discussion and forum angst about MAnsion sports (the new banner) than getting this ewinner fiasco sorted out. That is not right. (I have nothing against Mansion just an example).

I for one (this is for all you companies who have a banner here) have tried an account with many of you because I saw you here on this great site, I know that the Rx leaders at least checked you out to some degree and stay in contact, that is how I pick my sportsbooks. You were all new banners at one time. Sprotsbooks stealing form customers is very harmful to the industry and to the customers. It would be a great marketing and industry stabilization move to consider helping the ewinner players. Even a bit will help especially if a few come forward.

Rx what is your behind the scene action items and plans to try and help the ewinner.com situation?

I know these things take time and Im not looking for a miracle. Obvioulsy first and foremost this is my problem Im not spreading blame to anyone. Im trying to rally our community so our priorities are straight. Help customers get paid if at all possible, stabilize the industry, make good books great, and keep great books at that level.

thanks

Please shoot me an email at Strutnut@aol.com so we can discuss some of the issues involving your case.

Thanks,
FISH
any chance of discussing these issues on the open forum as opposed to behind closed doors?

Doesn't seem like specific details to try are relevant, it is apparently a tits-up book who is stiffing anyone who had money with them.

I think everyone would like to see what happens here...

Drunkguy-

Yes, no problem with the Ewinner case being discussed in the public forum and no doubt it should be for the most part.

Out of respect for TTT, would just like to touch base with him privately on a few issues.

don't hold your breath TTT, although the shrink supposedly takes phone calls from players being slow paid as little as $50 , the chances of him doing a thing about ewinner are slim to none.

take it from whose been down this road before...

Step 1 - Players involved email The Rx your account numbers and balances.

Step 2 - Rx Try and verify these balances. This may present some problems. If anyone out there has a way to verify this please let me know.

Step 3 - Rx Try and find a book(s) that would assist in a bailout offer.

Ewinner and TheRx had a short relationship. There was no love when they left.

Just an update for the board.

im still in bad shape but Im happy to reprot that:

I have been contacted by two Rx Forum mods already. these guys work hard and have good advise and contacts. They are also very upset with this situation and been polite to me, respectful and helpful. The General in particular is really looking into this and seeing what he can do with his numerous contacts. This is good will on the Rx.

Asking details, looking around, trying to learn more, seeing what they can do. They have contacted the old outfit (the call center in Costa Rica) to confirm my Ewinner balance, and also talked to the head linesmaker of the costa rica call center and learned of my plays, my action. They found that Im clearly not a steam player, not a Don Best screen watcher, not a money runner, not a bonus whore. That info they will try to pass along to other books looking to stabilize the industry, get some great marketing, and get a new long term player. There are no guarantees but they are making an extreme effort and I thank them greatly.

A helpful bail out of a customer is a win win situation. It does help stabilize and grow the industry because people will continue to have a good feel about the concept of off shore books and continue to send more money to off shore places, hopefully most of the time top notch places, and the top places will continue to grow. If all the public just gets fed up with the scams and stealing they will go back to the corner bar hurting every off shore book.

if you believe this then why were you playing at ewinner to begin with?
