Youre wrong wilbur. Schools used to be an extension of your family. Teaching this changes nothing. There is no lesson learned from this.
No is not... Schools are and have been an educative Prussian system for the last 300 years or so, a system that forms people in a militarized way (this was used in order to have more military efficient reserves) that is meant to hold you back to the least skilled mindset... the knowledge required to approve high school and elementary should be done in 6-8 years at the most... kids should be out to college when 15. This system is more of a extension of the state than family. The Prussian system also teaches you whatever you are fed is right and is, and that questioning it is wrong... it also does not programs our kids to rationalize, which is why most of them have a hard time getting used to college dynamics, as the system is different very different.
The progression we see in subjects like these, is a change from methodical formulaic semi militarized system used for decades now, we are actually challenging the beliefs and the bigotry of the old school generations, that yeah were efficient in making changes in their own systems, we shall try to do the same!
