About to release DeAngelo Hall who they paid $8 million for half a season and gave up a 2nd rounder to acquire. What an absolute mockery of a franchise

Alert! my Broncos need a lot of secondary help!

to be honest, I dont know the contract/money/restriction angle to this... but the Broncos could use another DB

its frustrating to be a raider fan and see them do this

they keep making themselves worse and worse.... lots of bad moves
they need a whole new staff and owner

they have alot of talent but also have alot of over paid players

bottom line
what they are doing is not resulting in wins

Actually, cutting him is probably really smart.

Dumb would have been to keep him.

he was the best player on the Falcons defense here in the
A-T-L, but got traded for other reasons such as insubordination rather than his skill level
the Raiders didn't use him right, look what they did to Randy Moss

I read yesterday that statistically he was the worst DB in the NFL. He has been thrown at like 65 times, 40 of those caught for almost 600 yards, forget how many TD's. Not what you would expect from a player that you spent that kind of $$ on. His explanation is that he was struggling with the transition from zone to man to man. POS, Atlanta knew what they were doing when they dumped this cancer. Wasn't it this guy that cost the Falcons D like 45 yards in penalties on one drive last year?

I think this thread is simply a case of you venting your frustration over the fact that the Raiders have cost you a lot of money over the past couple of seasons.

I feel the position of CB is the most inconsistant performing position on the field and chance/luck has a lot to do with having a stand out season. I get so frusterated when CB run back to the huddle, chest bump his fellow DBs, after a ball bounces off the WR hands. While the fortunate occurance has nothing to do with the CB, but these plays are the difference between having a pro bowl season and getting cut by the Raiders.

For example, take a look at Deltha ONeil.... he gets beat over and over however he remains on a NFL roster. If you look at his career, he actually made two pro bowls but I believe his performance those seasons were purely a product of quality DB support, strong time of possession, and fortunate bounces.

Dumb would have been signing him in the first place at 70 million. Dumber is keeping him
