Interesting thought- I have thought this all day as the money line shifted toward Kerry. I was thinking the books had much Bush (-) action and needed to attract Kerry money. One great way was to make the players think that Kerry was now going to win. They shift the lines and now have both Bush (-) money and Kerry (-) money. If a player could see through this of course they could scalp the hell out of the books and have Kerry (+) wagers and Bush (+) wagers.

This is just my theory and of course I could be wrong. Wsex interactives are now tradingg at Kerry -270. Either there is great value in Bush contracts or someone knows that Kerry is going to win Fla, PA, and Ohio.

Listen, the line has moved on news and "the line" is really not being set by he books trying to balance themselves, it's being set by traders who are themselves basically setting the line based on the info they have, or think they have. If I'm on a market trading this and my sportsbook does not comply with what the market is doing, I will pound them until they do comply. It's that simple.

This is not a balancing move, this is a news move, right or wrong.
