fucking drama queenUnfucking believable man. Entire neighborhoods are being wiped out. People who didn't make it out or didn't know about the evac notices fuckin burned alive in their homes. Disabled, senior citizens, people in rural areas. All dead People left behind live stock and pets cause they had minutes to go.
Assholes on here think its fuckin funny or somehow Cali deserved it.
You what? When Irma leveled Florida or when Harvey hit Texas, who the fuck saddled up and caravanned the very next day with equipment and boats? Firefighters and search and rescue from both northern and Southern California!
plenty of studies on fire suppression policy vs fire management policy including a 40-year longitudinal one from Yosemite. you can predict and manage this...CA knows it and ignores it while their neighboring states and country (MEX) employ management policies that work great. i hate fed govt intervention but this is costing americans billions annually so it's probably time to get the feds involved since CA clearly cannot managed this themselves despite a clear solution available to themPlenty of states have far more rural, heavy-tree areas and none of these issues. it's a political policy not a truly natural event like a tornado or hurricane.

true story
fucking drama queen
Calif has fires every summer and fall because of the policies set forth by your govt...typical shit politics to keep going in the same direction expecting next year to be different. been talked about forever...if you just allow forest clearing and managing the terrain (like clearing out that vast amounts of pine and fir branches that fall on ground and create tree barriers with clearings) fires cause little destruction because there's no underbrush to fuel it and clearings to end it. But, implement a policy where you can't touch this stuff and you're backed into a fire suppression mode which will never work. Then, you turn around and blame global warming...
clear some of the fucking forest and fires actually become natural ways to clear out some areas of underbrush that would otherwise be fuel for catastrophic fires. Or, do what CA does...keep going down the same road and every year and blame global warming for how a small, natural fire becomes a disastrous one. Plenty of states have far more rural, heavy-tree areas and none of these issues. it's a political policy not a truly natural event like a tornado or hurricane.
talk about your assholes...
