COLUMBUS +1.01 over Edmonton http://www.pinnaclesports.com/?refer=xspwagers<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The Jackets are coming off a home loss against the Islanders on Tuesday and there’s really no excuse for that at all and they know it. They’ll get a chance to get off the mattress tonight and you can expect an all out effort after that loss. This Jackets team needs to get going and they really couldn't ask for a better situation as far as facing this Oilers team right now. The Oilers are coming off back-to-back wins last weekend against Philly and Carolina, both on the road. This game will be their fourth in a row on the road, their seventh road game in their last eight contests and their ninth game on the road this season in 12 starts. Furthermore, the Oilers have not played two home games in a row this year, meaning this will be the 12th consecutive game in which they’ve had to board a plane and fly to their next scheduled start. They’ve been off since Sunday, which really isn’t beneficial and there’s a great chance they’ll be flat as hell tonight. Edmonton has been flat on a few occasions this year and I can understand why. Also consider that they play the Penguins in Pittsburgh tomorrow and the Jackets have to show more desire and I trust they will in this very winnable game. Play: Columbus +1.01 (Risking 2 units).

Friendly note that Jackets are in fact coming off a Road Loss...not a Home loss

Oilers 18-5-3 in their last 26 meetings with CBJ...

Garon 6-1-1 Lifetime vs CBJ...

Jackets may infact have a good solid hard working effort but doesn't solve their problems between the pipes... It'll be either Norrena (pretty sure he's starting) or Mason the callup... Norrena is 1-4, 0-2 in home starts... this game should be Oil or no play...

I'm on Edmonton tonight but good luck to you with the play.

By the way, Roloson is in net tonight for the Oilers and not Garon.
