First off if anyone says John Elway.....you will be required to show your report card that proves you made it through second grade this year. This is intended to be an adult conversation.

When I was younger I would have said Joe Montana because he always seemed so clutch. I have since changed my mind to Steve Young and his stats back it up. Tom Brady is definitely worth consideration as he has grown as quarterback over time. The advantage Steve Young had in his prime was his mobility. Brady has no running threat. Although I did read on the internet so it must be true......Tom Brady would have been an all american at Michigan if he was 5 seconds faster in the 100 meter dash.

Several to choose from, and none would be wrong. So being a Patriots fan, I would pick my favorite Tom Brady

When it gets to the greatest of the great, nobody can win an argument of "who's clearly better", silly to even try.

Brady
Rogers
Manning
Montana
Marino
Unitas
Elway
Young
Brees
Kelly
Graham
Starbauch

all of them 1AA or 1A, just the best in their profession

This question was up in the air for me before this year.

But now i say Tom Brady without a doubt.

28 TD & 2 ints at almost 40yrs old....cmon

The only 2 players you can really say he's had who have been great minus Brady throwing to them are Moss & Gronk.

All the rest have been plug-in players which Brady has made look good.

As a matter of fact the Patriots offense thru the years should be nicknamed 'Dem White Boyz'.

Ppl talk about being impressed with Aaron Rodgers right now & supposedly not having much to work with.

Thats a joke.

Give Brady Cobb, Nelson, and Adams & see what he can do!

Virtually every other QB in the argument has had more talent around them overall.

The only thing I'll ever question about Tom Brady is if he could have dominated on more than 1 team like Manning & Brees has & prove he's not the beneficiary of the Patriots' system, coach, and organization....

First, we have to remember that today's NFL favors QB play. I was always a Joe Montana guy, but I now put him and Tom Brady in the same category. Extraordinary QB's who had great coaches and great systems. Not every quarterback would have succeeded in that system, but there would have been some semblance of success with others.

Like Willie said, there are many right answers and it's almost unfair to choose. Really should just be a top tier but to play along I'll take Peyton Manning. Was basically his own offensive coordinator out there. Rodgers is making a push in a similar way as his head coach is a hindrance and he's succeeding anyways but he's not there yet.
