Am I nuts to think that the Astros are a great VALUE at PLUS $1.85 to WIN the SERIES against the Cardinals?

Anyways, I bet it and thought I'd share it and open it up for discussion...

Remember, this is a team that finished hotter than anyone else, having won 18 straight Home Games, and the Cardinals Pitching staff doesn't impress me enough to be a 2-1 favorite...

munro and backe go in the first two games. you'll likely be in an 0-2 hole.

oswalt and clemens could get you back to 2-2...then you have to go back to st. louis with munro and backe.

i'd say the odds are about right.

I think the starters for Houston being worn down and out of alliance is partly why the line is so high...Houston needs to steal one of the first two, if that happens, look out.

the only advantage houston has is SP, and their aces wont be pitching til game 3 and 4.. huge bullpen edge goes to st louis, if you like houston to upset, what about waiting til after game 1 when they are down 0-1 you should get a much better price

One of the best value threads posted here deserves a bump. I picked it up 3-1 hoping Munro could upset. He did the best he could. But after that a huge 6-1, I saw it +6.01 at Pinnacle. :howdy: But, it was the 0-2 start many forecast. I think that is a lock, the master type, going in to tonight's game. Might see pick, who knows, but hedging out is my way. :heh: I lock on to my profits.
