Ole Miss played at MS State last week and lost by 4 late. However, in that game, MS State had Doug Shows officiating. In the two games he has officiated of theirs in Starkville, they have an 85-25 FT advantage over their opponent. In their two road conference games(losses to UK and LSU), they have shot 18 FT's, and lost both games by 20+. They won't get those calls today.
Second, in that first matchup, Marshall didn't play. So, Ole Miss took 31 less FTs, and was missing their leading scorer, and lost by 4. I know Marshall. He is pumped about this game today.
Last, the place will be rocking. This is the hardest basketball ticket to get in Oxford in probably 10 years. It's going to be loud. On top of that, it's the largest football recruiting weekend of the year, so the football guys will be in attendance, as well.
Ole Miss is going to win this game something like 82-58. It may only be a 4-5 pt lead at the half, but it won't be that way in the end. My normal bet in baskets is much less than football....usually only 100-200 a game. Im playing 1000 on this game.
