One I LOVE For Today - Nova 1st Half

Villanova is one of the best first half teams in college hoops. They always seem to get off to a quick start, especially against an opponent like Illinois that matches up well against them.

This game is being played at the Garden on a neutral floor, however I will give Nova a home court type of advantage in this case. Nova always brings their "A" game when playing in this arena.

The line opened at -2 and now at -2.5 for the 1st half.

I suggest waiting till closer to game time to see if the line goes the other way with late money on Illinois as a live dog. If you can get it at PK to -2 jump on it. This game will be close.

Keep an eye on this line and follow this play as I suggested. At -2.5 this is a much smaller play for me.

If illinois as a live dog moves the line and the game is as close as you predict, where is the value in playing it??

Yes I know I was a bit confusing and I tried to be as clear as possible. I was hoping that the line would go down but it appears that it's moving in the other direction. I was really hoping to get the first half at -2 based upon a gut feeling and how I expect this first half to go. I work a lot off of opening numbers and where I see lines going too, however it would appear that this one is going away from where I was hoping it would be. I guess I just like seeing Nova -2 as I think they cover that. -2.5 is fine also, just smaller. Anything passed 3 I wouldn't play for 1st half. Looks like my large $1000 is a no play. Sorry guys
