I don't know if this helps.

PHOENIX — Checkgateway, a provider of electronic payment and innovator in the Automated Clearinghouse payment processing industry, signed a one-year contract for electronic check processing with TransFirst ePayment Services, a provider of transaction-processing services and payment-enabling technologies.

According to a news release, Checkgateway’s new check-processing platform — which can now handle a larger volume of transactions in a faster turnaround time — will enhance the companies’ relationship. "We have had a long and successful relationship to date with Checkgateway and we look forward to expanding upon it to better serve our customer base," said Chuck Holm, vice president of sales and marketing for TransFirst ePayment Services. "With this new alliance we can significantly increase the number of customers that utilize our echeck capability and provide them with enhanced and added value services they need to be successful."

:icon_conf The weird thing is they are making you call in to make a withdrawal if you used E-check in the past regardless if your deposit cleared 2 months ago or not. In other words, you cannot request your payout online. I'll just leave it at that for now :monsters-

Well, I'm very disappointed in this and Wsex not getting back to the forum a couple months ago about this when it surfaced.

I wanted to use it exclusively and be done with all others. (I thought Bodog and few others were mentioned that used Echecks and it went smoothly---although, I have Never tried it with any of them). This --I thought woud be the wave of the future and make it Extremely simple to keep track of winnings...

Just disappointed..

I wouldn't be suprised if they got rid of is because of customers abusing it and defrauding them. There was a post about this on twoplustwo or the poker newsgroup. What people were doing was making a big deposit using the eCheck thing, then either taking the money out of the account or closing it before they take it out, which is usually in two or three days.

With the money in the account, they would go to the poker room and lose it all to their accomplices. That way they get around the having to wait for the eCheck to clear before making a withdrawal. They were basically dumping the free money to their cohorts.
