One DVD won't play in my Mitsubishi player..why?

Appreciate any clues here

We've been using a moderately priced Mitsubishi DVD player for a couple years now without a problem. Plays DVDs and also music CDs channeled through my combo TV and surround sound system.

ONE DVD..."Casino Royale" (Bond movie from last year) refuses to load.

We went through three different copies from Blockbuster last fall and then blew it off because no other DVD gave us problem.

Just ordered it and received via NetFlix and this one won't load either

Are there certain codes built into certain distributors that might create such blockage?

I'm more puzzled than anything else, since I've no strong ties to this specific movie.

Oh, the DVD does load and play on my Dell laptop, but it's of course an impractical means to watch the movie.

is your DVD player a car? that might be your problem.

heh...Nope...Guess I'll bust out and watch it eventually on another player or hotel pay per view when I'm on road at end of next month
