the democrats only win the impoverished democrats, but those demographics may be tired of being impoverished and the moved away from libtard nation dooming crooked clinton

they need 2/3 of the impoverished vote and 90% + of the African American vote or they're toast

they keep trying to tell us they're smarter, I wonder why they relish being impoverished?

when Romney pointed out there's 47% that vote democratic every year, who was he talking about?

Interesting to see how much better Romney was with voters > $100k than Trump was. Smashed Trump in college grads as well.

just about all the demographics moved towards the center this year

Republican demographics voted for Hillary in larger numbers, democratic demographics moved towards Trump

Republican demographics were more motivated than their counterparts

Ya, it's just interesting to see what a dramatic shift there was from 2012 to 2016. I give Trump a lot of credit for tapping into an anger/opportunity among the rural and blue collar communities that no one else in either party saw. Still not a fan of his, but impressive stuff.

What does that have to do with the discussion on demographics?

Sometimes I forget that you're a one trick pony.... "Trump good, Obama bad".
What do demographics have to do with Trump wining?
He won period. Willie gets off on the fact that Peters
vote Republican and Pauls vote Democratic. For the last 8
years more Pauls voted than Peters but that changed because
Obama did such a terrible job. I know you have a hard on for
Trump but you're just going to have to deal with it. Reality bites.

Hah, my "hard on for Trump" has nothing to do with it. Simply discussing a big demographic shift in this election. I find it interesting how different 2016 looks when compared to 2012. That's probably above your pay grade but maybe one day you'll get there.

Yes, well, appealing to 'elites' doesn't win elections.

Romney is such a loser...don't get me started because it makes me angry that we had to suffer through another 4 years of the Kenyan, all because the GOP chose to nominate another dead-in-the-water politically tone-deaf RINO p*ssy.

Ya, that's definitely the message that came out of this election. People that feel as though they have been "left behind" are angry and want their voices heard. Trump saw that and tapped into it. No one else did. Kudos to him.

That has everything to do with it. Trump is a winner
in the private sector and now he's a winner in in the
political sector. I don't understand why that pisses
you off. But then again that's also above my pay grade.

I don't even know what this nonsense has to do with this discussion. We are wasting our time with this back and forth. Clearly, demographics don't interest you. Maybe you should find a different thread to say "Trump good, Obama bad" in.

Yesterday, Zit said.

Translation: The poly forum doesn't have drama queen Vitterd trolling it, multiple posts per minute all day long

That *is* the new poly forum, and it's a breath of fresh air.

Dave chimed in with this in response.

Order has been restored. Life is good.

Joe followed with.

Yeah, the poly forum is flourishing now. Real debates and discussion taking place.

No more idiotic fairy tales of "BBQs" and "seasons tickets" melodrama.

So refreshing.

And yet here we have Dave contributing gems like this a day later.

Flourishing with real debate and discussion indeed. Sometimes you just have to laugh.

Tidbits:

Trump received 1.87 million more votes nationwide than Romney.
Almost a third of that came from just Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Changes from 2012 in Pennsylvania:Trump received 290,000 more votes than Romney, Clinton received 64,000 fewer votes than Obama.
Trump's margin in PA is 44,321 (will only change by a handful).

The votes didn't change because of Obama, they changed because of a new appeal to Trump and most importantly because of a Hillary no one could trust
