Early observations in WF/ MEM game. WF defense horrible technique, missed tackles, heads down, leaving their feet, ect. The safety on the long 3rd down pass was way out of position as the ball arrived. Never played the ball, neither did the corner on 2 plays now. Can't play the ball with the back of your helmet. This looks like young players without enough reps. These are fundamental mistakes that don't get corrected in a 4 q game. Thousands of hours and many reps. Memphis excellent technique so far, heads up, weight over feet, solid tackles. DB playing the ball and the receiver. Wake will need lucky breaks, turnovers, special team mistakes ect. Otherwise, Mem runs away with this game in the 4th Q

Memphis got 14 pts on a pick 6 and kickoff return.
Crazy ending sure but WF would have won big but kept fiddling around when they got to the Memphis 40, several times, ran the same slow option play over and over and over. Shoulda thrown a bit.

Yes WF was the better team. Memphis had their chances.
On to Army, I don't think its a surprise they are way up. I must say, I like watching them play. No arm tackles, no whiffs, the head is up and they are under control. Glad they are winning games this way.
