"I was seriously thinking about flying back for weekend but I don't see the card as a whole being worth it. A few of the locals I bet with in Macau said some heavy money has already been bet on Bradley with them and in HK by shady characters. Not sure what it all means. Maybe they think Manny is having serious problems again with his calves and isn't going to be able to go 12 rounds against a volume puncher. Or maybe they are suckers."

From across the street posted Thursday 1130am est. thought it was interesting. May be something to it, maybe not.

Interesting ....Never saw any moves on that day. Must have been something over there...

Who knows... Guess we might never know the truth.

Just read the Nevada Boxing Commission fight cards........the two judges that had Bradley winning each had 7 rounds for Bradley, whats a bit of a flag to me is that of the 7 rounds each of the judges had Bradley winning 3 rounds and each had 4 different rounds than one another so between the two Bradley judges they at some point had Bradley winning 11 of the 12 rounds, so 3 rounds were the same and each had 4 rounds each scored 10-9 Bradley for a total of 11 rounds between the two, just isnt consistent with what we saw.

sun dodger,

119-109

lederman gave pacman 11 rounds..

I saw the fight, watched it closely and gave Pac-man 9 rounds, one round was a draw so maybe 8.. Pacman got all the good punches in, Bradley never landed a clean shot.

Can you explain a little further? Bradley did throw more punches, but landed over a 100 less. He definitely fought more backing up than Manny did, and was rocked a few times clearly, and by his own admission. Bradley had some nice body shots on manny, but it didn't wear him down like many others have thought also. I do agree with the judges that Bradley won the last round, but no way it should've been the deciding factor. They clearly didn't watch rounds 3-8. Bottom line to me is, you don't win decisions landing at a 19% rate. How does that compare to "body of work" scoring?

Nope, you're correct. Its hard to justify my assesment with those numbers.

Boxing knows they were likely never going to get the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight, so they need something big to replace it and suck people in, and believe GIVING Bradley this fight would set up the huge rematch....

Who would want to pay PPV for a rematch? The rematch has lost credibility already based on what I'm reading here. I'm guessing one would assume Pac would "win" again but to only come up short on "losing" tickets again. Not worth it.

Boxing, long ago, crossed the line from sport to entertainment. No sport has its outcome determined by the opinion of "judges".

Agreed... But Boxing is desperate... And since they know the Mayweather/Pac fight would never happen, they think creating (creating the key word here) this rematch would bring interest...

Whenever there is mucho denaro involved, business is always being done. That's why I have to laugh when people think the NFL isn't fixed when BILLIONS OF DOLLARS are involved every week. You don't need the players when you have the refs.

Notice how 2 penalties are not for review by instant replay? Holding and pass interference!!! Easiest call to make to stop the best runner in the world or to have a team move down the field the fastest!!

People have short memories and will pay through the nose to see it again. If I remember correctly, this happened in a heavy weight fight where the probable winner had a big fight coming up and he wound up losing the the underdog. Didn't hurt the gate at all.
