Northcoast had this as a *5 star play, along with many other services as one of their top plays. I loved Tech today as Nebraska coach Callahan, after making the Raiders a joke last year, is making Nebraska the same thing. When I saw Northcoast & some other services on them AND when I called Tech in and it was only -7 1/2 @ 9:00 a.m. PST, I made it my biggest play this month. Callahan sucks so much, he is going to make a mockery of Nebraska, a team with such rich tradition.
You have no clue what you are talking about. Granted Nebraska is not very good this year but you have to give Callahan atleast 3 or 4 years to build a program.. His QB is Terrible. He knows that. Why do you think he reqruited the best QB in the country. NE has a top 5 reqruting class right now. Some of it is because of the offense they are running and some because the caliber of players they have. Nothing wrong with Callahan, for anyone that judges him on his first year oh well!!! Nebraska will be back though it may take 2-3 years.
I was at the game last night and Nebraska had wide open recievers all night long, but the QB's couldn't get it within 5 yards of them.
Callahan has already got a very good recruiting class coming in and will probably be a top 10 recruiting class and maybe even one of the very best.
It will take awhile to get a passing QB and receivers that can catch but Callahan was a good choice at coach and it will pay off in the next couple of years.

Nebraska can run the football with success. I played NE in a teaser because I thought that Callahan would finally STOP TRYING to pass the damn football. It's like he's trying to make a point that they CAN run his offense, and it's just not working. The more he tries, the more it works against him...

Classless my ******* ass. It is a known fact that Mike Leach runs offense regardless of the score, whether he is up 50 or down 50. This is a isgn of a good coach especially getting in reps with your future QB. WTF is the point of getting him snaps if he is not going to run the offense.

I know it will take time and I understand why, but if you can't understand doing what it takes to win NOW while making that transformation, then you need to go somewhere else.

It's hard enough to get teams to come to Lubbuck, Tx as it is and all he's doing is increasing the asking price of other teams and decreasing his chances of getting a lesser D1 nonconference team there, not to mention pissing a lot of people off.

or he just exposed the hell out of Nebraska that the slow 350 lb smash mouth football, running the option/wishbone died 20 years ago in college ball and Nebraska fans need to get with the times...I see it taking the Huskers at least 5 years to gain ANY credibility ... it might be over for a LONG time... dynasties come and go...and eventually come back

Nebraska won 3 National Championships in the last 10 years, should have won it in 93 if not for bad calls, played for it in 2002, and might have won in in 98 (FSU vs VT) if they got to play (NU would have been favored over both teams).
But the option died 20 years ago????
Nebraska may end up with one of the best recruiting classes this year so it might not take 5 years to gain back ANY credibility
