Only one of the 12 New England Patriots footballs used in the team's AFC Championship game win against the Indianapolis Colts was under-inflated by a full two pounds, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
"Several" other balls were found to be roughly one pound under-inflated, and "several more" were either right at, or barely beneath, the correct inflation mark.
The one football under-inflated by two pounds is in the NFL's possession for purposes of its ongoing investigation as to whether the Patriots purposefully deflated their footballs in order to gain an advantage over the Colts.

Get the apology ready Rog. Amazing how little coverage this has gotten.

and let's not totally discount the fact that the one ball that was the most under was the one the colts had on their sideline.

last I'm commenting on this today. All I care about is the game tonight. Go Pats.

HAHAHA so 1 was 2 lbs lite and instead of 10 only like 5 were 1 lb lite and the other 6 borderline

really seems like a good plan just deflating half the balls

HAHAHA blame the Colts

go enjoy the game :toast:

Haters have been around forever so nothing really new there. They hated the Lombardi Packers, Bill Russell Celtics, Johnny Wooden Bruins, Magic johnson Lakers, Michael Jordan Bulls, Duke Blue Devils, Who did I miss ?

I love the Packers, love the Celtics, absolutely loved the Bulls. Hate the Lakers, hate the Pats. Don't care who wins in NHL unless I'm betting.

I'm sick of hearing the phrase "integrity of the game" and the name "Ted Wells". Where did I hear his name from before? Is he a Congressman? Why would he be investigating anything. This stuff is so stupid. And somehow he will have some 200 page report of fluff.

This has been bullshit since the very beginning imo. The NFL has been wanting to surpass the 1982 Niners-Bengals audience share for decades. Just like the "illegal formation" against the Ravens in the playoffs, deflate-gate will fade rapidly after today with the exception of Patriot haters who will hang on to this and their bitterness for years.

This should have been resolved within days.

The NFL needed a McEnroe or A-Rod to step up and their plan seems to be working well...hook line and sinker

The only ones that are still bringing this up are the Patriots fans.

Pats fans are a breed of their own. They will never accept their team has been caught cheating twice.

I said since the start...the nfl and the pats will find a way out. Way too much money to lose by saying what sane people understand...and that is the pats deflated footballs. The interview Costas just had with Brady was classic....Brady should run for office.

Like I said from day 1. Chris Mortenson should be fired. ESPN is absolute garbage.
