I am just curious about a statement that is made by Olympic in there contest rules it reads the following:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID IN WHOLE OR PART WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. CONTESTANTS RESIDING IN AREAS WHERE THE CONTEST IS VOID MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST, BUT WILL BE INELIGIBLE TO WIN PRIZES. SEE ELIGIBILITY SECTION BELOW FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

This statement seems actually ridiculous in the fact that I dont know of any states that permit this type of gaming accept maybe Vegas. Am I missing something here or is this actually a way in which one could get denied the money if you are a winner?

I use Olympic all the time , they are great , and I have never had a problem with them since i have been using them for the last 4 years, the statement just seems a little strange.

It's a free contest, therefore it shouldn't be subejcted to gambling laws, regardless of who it's sponsored by.

Might be something they put in there to cover their asses somehow. If it was a book other than these two I might be worried, these guys though are going to get you your money if you win. No worries there.
