OLYMPIC sportsbook--rate their website

after hearing so much about OLYMPIC I finally got my act together & posted up for a new account with them.

Of course I love all the betting options available, clearly more than any other book I have seen this is clearly AWESOME, Also they have replied to all my emails quickly...

I have not been too impressed however with their software...I find the website very slow, sometimes having trouble to get down at crunch time...also hard to find your balance within the site...additionally the color schematics with the black screen are very hard on the eyes...do you guys have thoughts on this? Don't all those color's slow down the site, woudn't they be much better off with a black & white site?

Still like pinnacle's website in terms of ease of use.

Sports...I have not experienced that part yet with OLY.. always quick for me...only downside to that book is the accents of there CS agents I can never understand them, but I rarely call the callcenter... There site runs pretty smooth for me

Never have a problem getting in, but then I'm using a cable modem, unless this is something new the past few weeks (haven't done much there lately). Also, it's easy to get your balance - just click on 'Account Services' underneath your PIN and the next screen shows your account balance just underneath the 'Logout' button. I really like their software, since it will show recent changes highlighted (within the past 15 minutes) whereas Pinnacle doesn't. This has always been my favorite for software among my books, not the least of which reason is that you have a one-minute confirmation lock-in period and you can choose the days you want to look at when there are multiple days' worth of lines up.

Maybe it was just bad luck the first day that i signed up with them...OLYMPIC was slow yet pinnacle & all my other accounts were fast..Ok I am probably wrong about the speed (I am also on Cable internet)...

Perhaps it just takes a bit of getting used too...

I do however find the color schematics hard on the eyes & would prefer a white background...just me humble opinion.

 

If you notice them slow during peak times they have mirror sites that will help you get in and around very quickly when the main site is saturated.

I would maybe email a mod and ask for the mirror links. I'm not at liberty to post them because they have served us well during certain times (DOS) and I don't want to make it easy for the degenerates.

I've noticed this too over the last couple of months even with the mirrors and I've used Olympic for years..
..especially when laying half-times.....
I'm on everything from cable\dual T-1's\and a box sitting on the edge of an OC48

I don't know but even last nite I found Olympic slow while Pinny was very fast? weird?

We also finally got plugged into Olympic and have had some slow web service, but yeah, we are on that dialup, not broadband.

I agree with you on the black screen. I look away from the screen and see imprints in my eyes. I will have to get an LCD just for them. That black is terrible.

...of course I will put up with looking at the sun to get my bets in there.

Best software anywhere. The one thing I would like to see is a better history function. Finding a graded bet from several months ago is impossible.

A heck of a lot better than Canbet. Their site has been brutal lately. Been trying for an hour to get my bets in and still cannot get them all in.
