HOWEVER, they may show some sportsmanship here & not humiliate the Koreans & thus initiate the 'mercy' rule. They will be loosey goosey & wont have the eye of the tiger, (IMO)....
Thinking if the line moves in favor of Korea this will be the play if my thinking is right... USA will want to show sportsmanship.

also notice how pinny (who are usually quite sharp) are trying to 'lure' unsuspecting bettors with a lower number (-33) however they have jacked the vig to -127....
they know that many inexperienced players will lay the vig instead of the extra point & will lose value... seems like with their current odds anyway they are leaning to Korea

i'd think so, tho there is always the motivation factor to consider, e,g, if they have their group or qualification clinched, will they play their best players or try very hard.

All of Italys best players on the squad will play as they have not clinched a spot in the next round. A draw will get them into the next round though. Another thing to consider with soccer in the Olympics is that there is an age restriction. Players must be 23 yrs or younger meaning that these are not the same players you would see playing in the World Cup or Euro competitions.
