on the early alternate run lines for friday olympic has the mets minus 2.5 runs minus 250 with the giants plus 2.5 runs plus 2.10. giants should be plus minus so line is probably reversed. what happens if we take mets? will they just discover the error and call all bets win or lose no action?

Why not e-mail their support with your account number and let them know about it and show some class? Gambling doesn't always have to be taking shots.

Probably the most honest sportsbook owner in the industry. I'll take Spiro's integrity over any other hands down. Taking a shot at him is not something any respectable bettor would do. Not to mention the bet should be voided anyway if anyone took the play.

Owner at Grande is hard to beat on honesty as well. I wouldn't put him below Spiros.

I know it's tempting but honesty is the best policy maybe there is goodwill on their part regardless your wager will be returned to you.

One thing that bothers me (and I am not taking a shot at this guy that started this thread) is that bettors see bad lines as an opportunity to make money, yet they are the first to bitch and moan when a book makes an error the other way. I am the first to call out a book if I feel they are doing something shady, but I think players should stop doing shady things as well. If you know a line is off, notify the book. It's not like you are going to get to keep that bet either way. It is always best to do the right thing. I probably sound like a goody two shoes on this and it is pretty corny, but the industry would be much better off if people would just do the right thing on both ends.

A while back someone took a shot at pinnacle. Their repsonse was simple, player had the option to keep the wager, and have his account closed, or let pinn void the wager, and keep his account open.

Greek is a good book, they mgith give you abonus for calling int the error. OR another approach is to bet the line. THen call soon after and say you bet the line, but think its a mistake, and offer the book the option to void the lwager. SOme books as a bonus to you will let you keep the wager.

Absolutely the right thing to do.

Remember phoning WSEX to check on a questionable line and was told it was OK so I got down on it. Far better than not knowing if your bet will stand.

Honesty sometimes pays off. I remember once I notified bet365 about a line mistake and I was rewarded with 30 bucks or so

You don't even have to email them. Just call customer service or wagering # & let them know. They will ask you for your acct # if you have one as they usually will give you a few bucks for calling in an error.
