Even if they talk, I'm not convinced that the NCAA will do anything to Ole Miss but slap them on the wrist. They pretty much had Scam Newton and Auburn dead to rights, and nothing happened. If a sucky school like Ole Miss sees ZERO repercussions from this, what's the point of playing by the rules anymore? The NCAA knows the SEC is the conference with all of the power. They're probably afraid to punish any school in that conference for fear of these power schools leading the way and seceding from the NCAA. It's probably going to happen anyway somewhere down the line.rats are part of the circle. love them for what they are. it seems character wasn't a huge factor in who ole miss was recruiting. if they start questioning former recruits, i bet we see all kinds of scurrying rats. those bag men can't keep up the payments to everyone, eventually they will talk....that's if the ncaa does anything about it.
If the other schools are doing it, they aren't doing it very well. Nothing's changed. Remember the Ole Miss Bagman article from a few years ago? I think the rest of us schools need a better Bagman...The amazing thing about this ol miss gaffe, is that the Alabama resignation got put on the back burner, or so it seems to me. I just dont buy that all or most schools are doing it. I think thats a regional subjective opinion to better look oneself in the mirror.

But those two schools paid the price for it. I haven't seen anything done to the SEC in recent years. And it's not just the SEC. North Carolina's basketball program should have had the book thrown at them. The NCAA just lowered their allegations against them because "people wouldn't cooperate." Which is about the lamest excuse there is. If they refuse to cooperate your supposed to slap the school with heavier sanctions, PERIOD. Think about it, if that is their excuse for lowering the allegations then everyone could cheat, refuse to cooperate then get away with it. UNC's academic fraud went on for 20 years! The NCAA is a complete farce. Any school that is a blueblood and bringing in huge amounts of revenue aren't being touched by the NCAA. It isn't like it used to be where they would go after anybody. I could be wrong, but I'm betting USC will be the last big school the NCAA punishes to the degree they did. It set that school back a few years. I think if USC had been in the SEC their sanctions wouldn't even be close to being as severe as they suffered in the Pac-12. The SEC and Big 10 are getting HUGE and leaving the rest of the conferences far behind. The Pac-12 is the only conference that is even coming close to knocking on the door. But so far nobody is letting them in either.2 of the worst cheaters ever are USC out west and Oklahoma in the midwest. Everybody does it.
