Ole Miss vs Mississippi State

Am I the only one who feels this line should be around -7? I know it's a rivalry game, but Ole Miss is off a tough, physical loss to the Razorbacks and have very little to play for. After the fumble and injury on the half yard line, Ole Miss has seemingly packed up their bags.

Mississippi State is still in the playoff hunt and are fresh off a beat down of Vanderbilt. Their defense is pretty porous, but Bo Wallace is proving to be the QB we thought he was all along. Ole Miss does have a great defense, but Dak will score some points. I feel like they should at least be laying a FG.

Actually I've had 9 bets on Ole Miss so far, including the totals and the 2nd half of the Arkansas game. Im 6-3 on those games. So, if you took every bet on half the game, the total, and the game, I've bet on less than 25% of Ole Miss games.....but good try. I will take 67% every day.

Second, I didn't say I was betting it. It depends on the final line, and what I find out on Bo later this week.

Last, I can point out 4 teams that I have bet on this year more than Ole Miss, so it's certainly not a "homer" pick. But call it what you will. That's certainly your choice, but the least you could do is be factually correct regarding my wagers.

A homer to a "t"? What does that mean. Can you explain that for me?

The answer, however, is no I haven't. But, I also haven't bet against MS State, Memphis, or Georgia. So I guess that makes me homers of those schools, as well.

Me choosing to only side with my team when I think there is value doesn't make me a homer. A homer bets their team regardless of the numbers. Again, I have bet Ole Miss less than 20% of the time when a line was available. That's far from a homer. But again, keep talking about things you know nothing about.

And for the last time, I haven't said I am, or am not, taking Ole Miss this weekend. I will talk to Bo later this week and see how he feels. I will make a decision at that time, but in the interim, I want folks to continue to bet it up so IF I do play it, Im getting more points.

Homer or not, Ole Miss is going to lose this game. They have lost their last 3 SEC games after starting out 7-0. Those losses came at LSU (10-7), Auburn (35-31), and at Arkansas (0-30). So they have been outscored 45-68 in their last three SEC games and those were against the weaker SEC West teams. In the past 5 seasons, Ole Miss is 1-8 S/U in their final 2 games, so to say that a pattern hs started is an understatement. Miss. State is playing for a possible Playoff Spot. In Vegas they are still -1 to -2. This is a steal. Miss. State is 4-1 S/U in their last 5 games at Miss. Take Miss. State and anything under 3 points. It's the same old Mississippi team. They have not won more than 8 regular seasongames this century and they will not break that record this season.

I realize it's your thing to troll here, but if you would like to compare results on this board I will be happy to do so. I find it funny that you rarely post a pick(and when you do it's a loser), yet you find it necessary to troll other's picks.

That's correct. Actually talked to him yesterday, and he looked like shit. In a boot, and on crutches. He says he's going to play, but he could barely put any pressure on his foot, and it was Tuesday. I don't know how he's going to play on it, and if he does, he won't be as effective as he needs to be.
