OldManTed,

When do you think you selection will be posted every week? I have not had a chance to look over your college selections in the last few weeks until after the games were final. It might have been due to the site beign down.

Just tryign to know what's a good time to check.

Thanks,
Ku

If you look back at my posts, you will see that because the RX was having so much down time, I posted my plays for Saturday and Sunday on Friday in anticipation that logging in would be difficult. As for Monday, I posted a little less then an hour before kick-off. Just a note, because I posted early and there are a lot of fellow posters, my thread often times falls to the second or third page as I will not bump my own thread but will reply to anyone that might have a question they would like answered. This is a little different then last year when I responded to anyone that replied. I decided to do this in order to show respect for my fellow posters as well as maintain my health as much as possible. Same reason, I am limiting any write-ups.

As for the immediate, I will have no plays for today or tomorrow's games. Currently looking at Saturday and Sunday. I have no plays at the moment. As to when I will post, Journeyman asked me the same question prior to the regular season, I believe in August, and I responded with a lengthy reply. I'm sure you can find it if you go to the "search" window and put in my username. I try my best to post my plays early enough with fellow members, posters, and viewers in mind in order that they may decide whether they wish to follow or not.

One last thing to please keep in mind. As you know, I am very selective in what I post and there may be days that I will have no plays at all. Last year, I would notify the forum that I would have no plays, but in some sense feel that is presumptious of me, although my intent is to let anyone interested no that I'll be passing on that day. At the moment, I'm not sure this is the right thing to do, so I've somewhat established a time line. Any game that I plan on posting will be up on the forum no later then approximately 1 hour before kick-off. On Saturdays there are many kick-off times and although so far this year, I have posted most my plays early before 12:00 p.m. EST, there may come a time that I will add a play or two. My thread will tell the reader whether or not to expect any additional plays. As for Sunday, with just 3 kick-off times, and just a play or two, my threads are usually up in plenty of time. Once again, however, you will often times need to search beyond the first page as there are many other posters who actively post and my threads often fall off the front page.

I encourage you to do the search for my response to Journeyman's thread and hope this has answered your question. Wishing you the best of luck this football season. Still a long, long way to go this year with plenty of opportunities.

Thanks OldManTed. I will have to be more proactive. I do like when you post that you have no selections as it lets me know there is nothing to look or wait for.

Keep up the good work.

I am 56 years old as you can note from my public profile, but have a rare disease with no known cause or cure. It is listed under NORD (National Organization of Rare Diseases). Basically, according to the specialists, my body is currently rejecting itself. We'll leave it at that.

As for bumping my threads, I prefer to respect my fellow posters and bump my thread only when I am responding to an inquiry such as this one from you or have something to add. I very much appreciate the well wishes I receive and I never forget anyone who enters my thread with a comment or a reply. Just don't feel proper bumping with a response to every reply and hogging the front page. Room should be left on the front page for everyone who contributes. My threads can be found if one looks for them. Have noted certain members understand my feelings on this matter and have bumped my thread at times and have appreciated that as well and wish to thank them. They know who they are, as do I.

Best of luck to you as well this weekend.

The specialists have informed me that the disease is not life threatening however I am in pain and discomfort 24/7. Appreciate your concern and well wishes. As long as it doesn't affect my handicapping, it's all good.:)

Sorry to hear of your affliction. Hopefully you can still enjoy an adult beverage and a fine cigar now and then. Always look forward to your picks and views.

Take care.
