Yep! You asked and I answered. Sorry to hear it cost you $5700. That's why it's very important to trust your own instincts. No one can be correct 100% of the time. Best of luck with your future on the Widcats. :toast:

I assume that you realize the thing you heard over you heard was a 35lb sack of sarcasim flying past you.

Yes that was a horrific loss for me.

I had all sorts of stuff tied into that game. And like always, when I put to many eggs into one basket.

On a good note Cincy scored 4 in the bottom of the 9th to get the win, so I have enough $ to get one of the pine tree smell good things to hang from my van mirror.

@) I know. Your young and like the action. Try thinking about what is the best bet to make real money each day and concentrate on that and you'll be surprised how much your success rate improves.

bad thing is I am NOT young........... But I lovelovelove the action.

Just curious, is this silly?

bet KTY futures, which BTW have gone down to +135. If KTY wins the next game, and they face either Butler or VCU and the spread is 5 or more, bet the team they are playing ATS.

Is that crazy to try to do?

Not at all. By doing that you have a chance of winning both plays. It's done all the time. Or you can play the dog on the ML which will be + money and guarantee a profit. BTW, the spread shouldn't approach 5 or more. Most likely 2 to 3.

2 or 3

I am sure you are right.

My thoughts were it would be atleast 5 and prolly 6-7.

2-3 wouldn't leave much of a middle.

Well I won't be one of those laughing. As I stated in my opening remarks, all 4 of these teams are very deserving of being here and are all playing their best basketball of the year at the right time. Which team will ultimately be the champion is wide open IMHO and feel it would be no surprise whatsoever if either Butler or VCU were to win it all. Best of luck to you as well! :toast:

Butler has been a dog in every game in this tournament as has VCU. Today the Bulldogs find themselves both the favorite and the hunted. Should be a very interesting game as VCU continues in it's role as a dog. The Rams continue with a chip on their shoulder proving that they belonged in this tournament. In what should be a close game, I'll take the points. Best of luck to you! :toast:

My pleasure indy and thank you. Nothing wrong with passing on Saturday. Very tough calls IMHO. Going in light on my plays as well. Nothing strong whatsoever in these two plays.

Next up for me will be the NBA playoffs, however, I will post plays from time to time in MLB as soon as the pitchers and teams begin to show their form. No hurry. It's a 6 month long season. Best of luck to you! :toast:

i didnt watch a minute of it i didnt check any scores... you rarely post random plays like this....you either post "oldmanteds plays for "" "" and when you randomly post about a game (ive seen it a few times) i know its money... thanks again

Very much appreciate your confidence in my 5* plays. To be sure, they don't always win but far more often then not they do. Glad to hear you cashed your biggest play of the NCAA college hoops season. That is music to my ears! :toast:

No apology necessary. If you are tailing Saturday, keep it small. This two plays are far from being strong. All 4 of these teams can win on Saturday. Hopefully, our good fortune will continue. Best of luck to you! :toast:

I agree Butler is the hunted but I believe the public is all over VCU in this game because of the way they have won their games with relative ease with exception of the FSU game. On the other hand Butler always seem to be in very close hard faught games, imo this is a bad matchup for VCU because of the speed & defense of Butler.

You are correct about VCU being the current public favorite. SportsOptions is currently showing the Rams as a 61% public favorite. As for the speed and defense, my opinion is that VCU has more speed, however, I would give a slight edge to Butler on defense. Best of luck whatever you decide to play! :toast:
