Hoping the water from that well is just as cold for you tonight as it was last night. Nothing like cold water or hot cash from the same well.

Mr. Ted, as a Braves fan, I hate to say but you have a winning pick. I had Phil's RL 2 days ago for a winner. Would have bet the Phillies last night, but the price was too high. One team is rolling and one is fading. I have seen it too many times here in Atlanta! Best of luck! Oldman Atlslim

The Phillies set up their rotation purposely to have their top 3 pitchers to start against the Braves in this 3 game series. Tonight they go for the jugular with Oswalt to keep widening the NL Central lead. He has been lights out in his last 9 games as his record is 7-0 with a 1.55 ERA and Philadelphia has won all 9 starts. That's good enough for me against a Braves team that seems to have lost their way after losing Chipper Jones and are licking their wounds from the last two losses to the Phillies. Just don't see Hansen being to answer for them in stopping the Philadelphia runaway train, having won 9 in a row.

Best of luck to you tonight! :toast:

Great to see you and thanks for stopping by. I just commented the very statement you have made. I think the best the Braves can do now is try to hang on to the Wild Card spot, but it won't be easy with San Francisco, San Diego and Colorado all playing well. Continued best of luck to you on a great season! :toast:

BOL OMT, nice pennant race in the NL West, if only they kept Buster Posey in the Minor Leagues LOL, Los Padres would benefit, he is real good, lots of good rookies in the NL (Heyward, Posey, Stanton,
Gaby Sanchez (underrated), probably missing some others on the list

Thank you and yep! One heck of a pennant race in the NL West as well as the Wild Card. 5 teams playing for 3 spots. As for Posey, if you see him day in and day out, he is the real deal. Not only his hitting, particularly with runners in scoring position, but his swing. Willy Mays and Orlando Cepeda saw him for just a few minutes in batting practice and said his swing is perfect and he will be a great player for a long time. Being once a shortstop at LSU and a catcher as well as having actually pitched, he has full understanding not only how to call a game, but he doesn't move behind the plate, yet has a shortstops arm and is throwing out runners attempting to steal at around a 35% rate which is excellent. To say I'm excited about his ability and demeanor would be an understatement. I know he only came up in July but the impact he has had on this team with this pitching staff has been incredible and if your looking at which rookie made the biggest impact, it would be Posey hands down. I hope and think he deserves to be rookie of the year, but playing half the season may work against him. I just want to see the Giants in the playoffs, whether via Division winner or Wild Card because I think they deserve to be there. Whatever happens after that, so be it. @):)
