Good Day OMT. I caught a portion of "Great Moments In Baseball" yesterday on DTV and San Fransico Giants pitcher Carl Hubble was one of the featured segments. The segment indicated Hubble was National League MVP in 1933 and 1936 and pitched in 3 World Series Games. His version of the Screwball was one of if not the first ever developed and it helped him post an impressive 5 straight 20 game win seasons. I love to see the old black and white video footage that was available in those years. But moving from the past into the present, BOL with the Giants today and hopefully they can get more men across the plate today to close out the weekend.
I caught the tail end of your Giants game on MLB Network late this afternoon OMT. Brian Wilson's "Fear the Beard" banners crack me up evertime the bring him in. Several players have been ejected in the Washington Arizona game. It has a Bean Ball fest in that one. Also caught Puhols with the game winning HR to beat the Cubs. The Cub's 2nd baseman Barney had several great defensive plays and looks to be a really good ball player. Fun day of baseball with the Braves and the Mets playing tonight to parallel the NBA Finals Game. It is still 95 degrees here at 6:00 PM. Glad I have excellent water discipline. Gotta pump those fluids.
Ted!!! You put up another winner and I tagged along for 2U! Philies and the over hooked me up as well for once!! Man you be killing it lately!
