good luck tonight ted, im on Ark (pk), LSU (-6) and thats it for my college hoops tonight,,,, gotta side with the home boys in the SEC - for the most part.. The SEC is my home league,, Miss is not that bad but id tend to agree with you and go with Georgia since they are at home,, The Reed guy at ole miss is a warrior..

Tenn sucks on the road by the way, so im siding with a 9-1 LSU team at home. and siding with Ark at home..

nba, i am on mem -2 (-1.20), Phx -2, utah -8. i may play edm (-1.30 in nhl).

With Francisco Garcia, Taquan Dean and Nouha Diakite not making the trip tonight, I strongly considered bumping this game to only my second 3* play in college hoops this year. But, since I haven't exactly been on fire lately, keeping conservative. Good luck to you.

Way to go yesterday! I did get back to you on the half time of the Florida/Kentucky game last night with little time remaining. Recommended the Cats +2.5 or Under 74, both which turned out as winners. Sorry if you didn't get the info in time. Nice day anyway for you yesterday in hoops as well as pucks.

As for tonight, I've played Georgia in certain spots this year and this is a fit at home. Have no real lean on the games you are playing tonight, but good luck to you on them. I've been on LSU at home as well as against them on the road this year. As for Arkansas, my only play was against them with Georgia. I hope I remembered these properly.

Been waiting for this game and with all the distractions that Louisville has had to endure recently as well as being without Garcia, Dean and Diakite tonight, the Tigers should have no excuses tonight in prevailing. Good luck to you tonight. You are a quality capper on this forum. Keep it going.

Inappropriate for me to comment on the NBA as you're the man in that venue. Besides, I haven't really spent enough time yet to have a meaningful opinion. Probably should though as the few plays that I have made have turned a profit. As for pucks, I'm way out of my realm. Ask me for my opinion when they reach the Stanley Cup finals.

it was a great year in football for me, its been a good year in the nba, college hoops is probably a break even or slightly ahed.

As for the nhl, normally it and MLB are my 2 best moneymakers, however this year has been a struggle to break even. the last 2 weeks have been slightly better.. Ive always liked the nhl and mlb because you can use money management to your advantage and in baseball the streaks come and man you have got to ride them.. You are going to play and post MLB this season, arent you ted?

As we have discussed in the past, even though we have separate bankrolls for each sport, they all add together for your overall bankroll. If our percentage for the year in it's entirety can land between 55%-60%, we can turn a nice profit. That is always my goal. No doubt, yours is the same, and combined, although maybe not up in all sports, overall I suspect you land in that percentage most years.

As to your question regarding baseball, normally I use the summer to prepare for football which is my strongest sport and where I'll make the most money. Basketball follows with baseball a very distant third. The summer gives this oldman a nice refreshing break. I enjoy baseball as our pastime and make a few plays throughout the year but mostly during the stretch drive and the playoffs. This is the only sport that I am a fan first as I am a long time suffering Giants fan. The last few years have been fun but excruciatingly painful to watch.

I live about 3 hrs from atlanta and am a lifetime braves fan, we suffered in the 70's with 100 loss seasons. division champs the last 12 seasons but only 1 ring in 1995. we were doing great, sitting on top- then ted sold the team or merged with time warner/AOl and the demise of the nasdaq market ruined our team.. well for the most part, we cant or wont spend money, we lose player after player..

Baseball is my love as far as sports go.. I fashion myself as somewhat of a historian and trivia guru.. did you know dale murphy was a catcher before being moved to the outfield and did you know that barry bonds was almost a brave in 1987.. Giants had a heck of a series with the marlins last year.. man, im ready to hear "pitchers and catchers report"..

SSI;

Answers to your questions are yes. Remember what you may consider history is this oldmans prime. I remember Dale Murphy well and as a catcher. As for the Giants, the hardest part was the year before last when they were up on the Angels in the Series 3-2 and ahead, I believe, 5-1 with 8 outs remaining in Game 6, when Dusty Baker took the ball away from Russ Ortiz and handed it to Felix Rodriquez. That killed me. It drives me crazy watching today's managers over manage games. This was possibly the winning game of the World Series and Ortiz was tiring but still had control of the game. Let him go deeper then bring in Nen. It didn't bother me when the Giants chose not to renew Baker's contract. As for last year, the Giants were a completely different team in the playoffs then they were in the regular season. The mental mistakes did them in as well as the great play of the Marlins. After that series, I made a play on the Marlins to win the World Series at 10-1, so I did enjoy the post season. At least, I didn't have to watch a Giants/Cubs match-up and possibly see Baker's Cubs eliminate the Giants. That would have been too much for this oldman.
