Not with the injuries. I do like the Under 203 however, and may pull the trigger near game time. Good luck to you with both your plays. By the way, thanks for replying to my thread in the college hoops forum. Today, I appealled for responses from specific posters and have received one reply so far. As the reigning "Poster of the Month", keep those good comments coming.

Glad you like the plays, but I noticed you played the Over in the game. Is that a mistake in your thread? Just wanted to help in case you may have mistakenly made a bet you didn't mean too or a correction in the thread is needed.

Man, I was looking forward to watching the WGC today, but the course was a swamp from overnight rains. I had made plays on 13 of the matches and was looking to enjoy the viewing. Tomorrow and from here on out it is 36 holes each day. Going to watch as much as possible. Good stuff!

Ted, I was really liking the over in the Mavs Spurs game as Dallas really likes to play uptempo at home and will exchange hoops with the Spurs to keep the tempo up!! If they play a half court game they don't have a chance.

These two teams have played twice this year both in November. On the 8th, Dallas won 81-78 at San Antonio and on the 20th, Dallas won 95-92 at home. That was a long time ago and a different Spurs team trying to find it's identity without David Robinson. Recognize that the Mavericks will try to run at home but can't ignore the Spurs league leading defense against scoring only allowing 83.9 points per game. Defense controls games and the 190 seems pretty high to me. That's an average of 95 points per team. Just hard for me to see that happening but that's why they play the game. Could go overtime as close as this game figures. All that being said, if you feel strongly, make sure you stay with your instincts and don't let my opinion or anyones change your mind. Good luck to you tonight in whatever you decided to do.

good luck ted, ive noticed that you like to play the spurs.. i had the game capped at dallas -2 so its a no-play for me.. i dont do many totals so good luck with the under.. my plays were wizards and kings.. my capped line showed wizards -6 and kings (pk), so i had to go with the 2 plays since the difference was there..

No question the Spurs/Mavs game is a tough call. We'll just have to see how it plays out. I would normally be all over the Kings, just don't like them being without Jackson and Miller. The number is high however. No feelings on the Wizards whatsoever. Good luck to you tonight. I might come in later with a late totals play on the Kings/Lakers game. Leaning toward the Under.

phew

I decided to have a little fun tonight boys so I played a round roubin on the Money Line with the Flyers, Sac Kings, & Spurs.

3 by 2 by 1 & a small bet on each....

figured with three league leaders there is about a good a chance as any that this might hit tonight....

Well the line certainly is moving in your favor. You got a good number and I moved to soon. Let's see how it plays out. At least one of us will come out with a win on the total. Good luck to you and I can't wait for tomorrow's WGC.

To answer your question with a question, what do you think my answer would be? You know me pretty well by now as we have had a great deal of dialogue on these forums. Being a professional takes many forms. Not just in this business but in character.

I think I know what your answer is ted, all i can say is that I agree with you...however be that as it may I firmly beleive that the 'wise' have an ability to weed through the trash...

I can assure you that your work, aswell as your character & kindness are very much by many...

since it is an open forum there will always be alot of riff raff & there is not much we can do about that....remember, alot of the posters are probably in their late teens or early twenties & have discovered gambling for the first time, they do not have the 'gentelmen's etiquette that you & I have when it comes to sharing information...they would rather waste alot of space & time arguing who is gonna win the game...MSU or Michigan...when we all know it is almost a tossup...lol...

Many however I beleive have a really good heart...kojak, co captain, kodiak, SSI & many many others....so I say we do not lose despair...we continue to post with intelligence, wit & wisdom...& at the end of the day the truth will speak for itself...

You & I have only been here a few months, so not many know us aswell as others...it takes time but I beleive things can get better.

Just finished a lengthy response to William Money on my thread in the college hoops forum before returning back here.

At my age and being in this business for so long, I am very much aware of the types of individuals that are in the business as well as post on the forums. It is easy for me to spot the truth and separate fact from fiction. There is no despair here. There are those that handle themselves as professionals and there are those that don't. I can differentiate between both. Being a successful handicapper does not make someone a professional. Their character does that for them. The forums will be what they shall be. I will continue to participate as I have been and be there for those that wish me to do so. I will be there to respond to anyone who wishes to discuss something but will not participate in the nonsense. It is not within my character. You can only help someone who wishes help. You cannot help someone who doesn't even know they need help.

Can't blame the beating the Spurs took on the loss of Tim...Dallas just took it to them...They looked unbeatable tonight...Tomorrow's golf will be awesome...I just wish it was on all day....Good luck tomorrow...
