In the first game AFC match-up between Baltimore and Tennessee, it should be defense, defense, defense with the game being played in windy and perhaps slightly wet conditions. Hence,

4* Baltimore/Tennessee Under 34 (-110) Betjamaica

Year To Date Record: 47-37 (+34.35)

5* (5-1)(+19.00)
4* (12-7)(+19.92)
3* (24-25)(-7.44)
2* (2-1)(+1.90)
1* (4-3)(+0.97)

Love the pick nieghbor! Also love the Titans even more. I think out of no where, they've undeservedly turned into the most disrespected division champs in the playoffs. For the entire week it's Ed Reed this and Joe Flaco that.

Gimme a seasoned coach in the post season, a TRUE running game with a week off, an equally as sound defense and a chizled vet at QB. Nevermind that Mawae is out. I've taken that into consideration.

The Titans establish themselves as the AFC representative in the big show after this weekend.

Every square in the game will be on unders. My play is simply against the public with the overs. It may be 6-3 but I think defenses get the ball in the end zone today. Final score

I also think it should be close to going over. Low scoring game would cost tenn the chance of winning. Imo

Always great to hear from you. If my memory is correct, appears you have moved from the North Bay to the East Bay. Welcome neighbor. Best of luck with the Titans today.

No question whenever you bet the Under that turnovers from good defenses can create short field position or direct scores. However, you can also get turnovers when teams are close to scoring and create long field possessions. I see these teams being conservative today and protection the ball, i.e. taking little risk, so ball movement should be difficult. But that's why they play the game. Best of luck.

These two teams met on 10/5/08 in Baltimore with Tennessee winning 13-10 as both teams struggled to score.

Game Update:

Appears that the weather won't be a factor today in this game as the winds are not as strong as predicted nor is rain expected. Just want everyone to know that those factors due not change my rating of this play. I fully expect yardage and points to be very hard to come by here.

Just so you know. It has rained all night long throughout today up until 12:00. I live roughly 40 miles from the stadium. It is raining in Nashville now. It may clear up by game time but the field should be soggy. LP Field is also not a great natural turf field as they have had major troubles with replacing turf throughout most every season since they started especially between the hashes. I can't believe the field will be in great shape for today's game......just my 2 cents worth !

In the night game, the NFC match-up is between Arizona and Carolina. Bad situation for the Cardinals on both sides of the ball here. Arizona is a one dimensional team with Warner leading the aerial attack. Don't be fooled by last week's success on the ground by James against Atlanta. Going into that game, the Falcons were yielding 4.9 ypc so even the anemic Cardinal ground game looked good but for the year they average 74 ypg on 3.5 ypc. They will find it difficult reaching their average on the road against the Panthers. Without the run, expect Warner to be under significant pressure and quite frankly, the Cardinal offense as a whole should be inconsistent here. As for the Panthers, huge advantage on the ground and in the air on offense. Expect Williams and Stewart to carve up the Cardinal run defense while Smith and Muhammad have a field day against the Cardinal pass defense. Delhomme has been well protected this year and I see no reason why that doesn't continue today. In the earlier game between these two this year, Arizona jumped out to a 17-3 lead but the Panthers came back to hold the Cardinals at bay and win 27-23. As I have said in many of my previous threads, at this level, in playoff elimination games, defense determines the winner as it controls and dictates how the game will be played. Big, big advantage to the Panthers in that regard here. Expect to see separation as Carolina puts many more stops on the Arizona offense while the Cardinals are hard pressed to stop the Panthers. Hence,

4* Carolina -10 (+105) Matchbook
