Had a nice Breeder's Cup with four wins: Distaff, Juvenile Fillies, Juvenile Males, and the Classic. The longshot winning the Turf broke up my Pick 3, which would have been nice as I had Wilko ($57), Kitten's Joy (2nd to 28-1 longshot), and Ghostbacker. Got the lead off double with Ashado and Sweet Catomine. So, all in all a pretty decent day.

Each year I take Breeder's Cup weekend off from football. Start playing horses in 1972, the year Secretariat was only a 2 year old and won Horse of the Year. Owned and breeded horses throughout the 80's, thus the interest in the Breeder's Cup.

Didn't play anything of significance in football last weekend. Made a recommendation to the General following the Breeder's Cup on Kansas State. Wrong! Hope nobody got hurt on my say.

Hey Ted,

I always enjoy your posts. You are a huge asset to this great forum and I thank you for providing your insight.

Kitten's Joy did the same thing to me...only he beat me out of 2 different pick 3 tickets. When Wilko won, I hit the pick 3 which was fantastic...but I also had a live ticket back to Kittens Joy and as well as a ticket with Wilko starting off, Kitten's joy singled in the middle and Ghostzapper singled in the last race.

I think I aged about 20 years when the numbers were flashing on the toteboard during the inquiry.

Anyway, I cashed nicely on that pick 3 winner as well as a fat win bet on Ghostzapper so I should not complain...but if KJ wins....look out!
