First let me thank all who replied to yesterday's thread and hope you all had a successful day. Believe the key to tonight's game are the defensive losses suffered going into this game as well as QB Brunell being able to start for the Redskins and RB Julius Jones not being able to play for the Cowboys. Key defensive losses for Washington include linebackers LaVar Arrington and Mike Barrow. Sense here is that both coaches may decide to test the ability of the opposing team to stop not only the run but most importantly the pass. Believe that both quarterbacks should have sufficient time to find open receivers and backs downfield to complete enough passes to move the chains. The running games may be found to be somewhat inconsistent. Weather forecast currently is for 80% chance of showers, although currently the weather is clear but the clouds are darkening. Feeling here is that this will provide an additional edge to the passing game as the receivers will know their routes while the corners and safeties will have to react. Futhermore, in rain, turnovers become a significant possibility as well, although where those turnovers occur play a critical roll as to the scoring in the game. Thoughts here are that conditions set up for sufficient points to be put on the board by both teams. Hence,

1* Dallas/Washington Over 36 or lower

Overall Unit Record YTD: (16-6.6-1)(+9.40) 2*(1-0) 1*(14-6-1)
Overall W/L Record YTD: (15-6-1) 71.43%
NFL Record YTD: (5-1)(+4.90)
NCAAF Record YTD: (10-5-1)(+4.50)

Decided not to include the 3 Team 10 Point Teaser win in my W/L record.

Plays are rated 1*-5*.

Good Luck All.

JMan:

Note I am aware of the expected rain. Actually believe this could very well help the passing game. Don't believe the coaches will change their game plan. Running game is more likely to be affected by the rain then the passing game. However can you say turnovers/interceptions for touchdowns?

Latest update right here from the members of the forum working together is that looks like rain is not expected until around midnight tonight EST which should be some time in the fourth quarter. Thus, don't expect weather to be a major factor for most of the game.

Thanks OMT for the further weathr update..I did get down on it, and also took over for 2nd half 17....3of4 I will take for the night...Almost got the miracle with Was....

I agree that passing opens up somewhat in a rain game, but the last weather report I saw before my post to you was from Cris Mortenson who said it would be heavy downpours by the 2nd qtr....oh well, the rain stayed away, and all is good...Nice job

I'm here in the region and the weather did change late today, but the rain is still not here! So go figure...thanks again, for the heads up.
