good luck with detroit tonight ted, ive been feeling a little burnt out and its cost me some $$ this week.. I won a ML parlay the other night and then lost a regular parlay because of the total. I also dropped 5 of 7 last night in college hoops, what a way to end the night, so im sort of on tilt but really no big damage because of proper MM and handling of bankroll.. So tonight i went over the card and due to me sort of being on tilt and not pressing ive decided to play another ML parlay.. If it hits then ill play another tomorrow in your thread (im superstitious), kind of a ML parlay within your thread.

1. Nets/Spurs - winner (+$157), posted on 2/18.

2. Kings/Knicks- pending, laying $300 to win $220. played at Olympic.

good luck with pistons, home team has been dominant in this series, r. wallace's first game with pistons should increase scoring. Minny had nice win last night..

Yes, I was a bit surprised this morning to see that you had come in with some late plays in the NBA and NCAAB hoops last night. Just a note regarding the Pac 10. The conference is so weak this year that some of the trends that apply to other major conferences, don't work as well. That Sacramento/Minnesota game last night was certainly strange. The was far and away the worst shooting by the Kings all year and it had nothing to do with the Wolves defense. They had good open looks and were shooting bricks and Peja missed two free throws. Very odd game as you well witnessed. Good luck on your ML parlay tonight and continued good MM.

No further current information but on www.espn.com the preview indicates he is expected to play. Perhaps wait until Sportscenter or the TNT pre-game show to be sure. My instincts tells me he plays as he played his one game for Atlanta before being traded to the Pistons. Unless he is injured of course. Okur is doubtful with a back injury.

Perhaps further information. Line movement has Pistons now favored in most places at -1.

Agreed, that the aquisition of Wallace will be interesting to follow. Obviously, results to come. I did not play this game because of Wallace however. I like a rested Pistons team playing at home getting points against the Wolves coming off a clearly emotional and meaningful win for them last night against the Kings, a statement game, witness the drained KG after the game during an interview. Believe the Wolves put out a lot of energy last night and then have to travel overnight to Detroit. Meanwhile, the Pistons probably upbeat as Dumars has sent a message that they are to believe they are now a legitimate contender and coming off a 1 point 80-79 loss to the Wolves in Minnesota earlier. I had this game as Detroit by 3 to 4 without Wallace. If he play's, it's possible the offense might be a tad out of sync for awhile but the defense is constant. I wasn't overly impressed with the Wolves play last night. If the Kings don't shoot an uncharacteristic number of bricks and only score 75 points while holding the Wolves to 92, what will the Pistons hold the Wolves to? Just like the situation. Should be all positives for the Pistons and a mentally tired Wolves team tonight. But, that said, they still have to play the game.

As to your question regarding Portland/Golden State, I neither have an opinion or a lean on this game. Curious as to why you might think I would lean to the Warriors.

port 8-18 on road
Gst 17-9 at home
GST 2-0 against port this year
GST 8-2 ATS the last 10

Warriors have won six of last 8 at home, just seems that you (and I) lean to the small home favorites or dogs and this game fits the criteria.. GST is not a bad home team, it was all the Lakers could do to beat them by 1 last wednesday..

You are correct in stating that we look for small home favorites or dogs and the Warriors certainly have played well at home the last couple of seasons since Musselman has been the head coach. Just not sure what to think of this Portland team. Warriors I know pretty well. Portland just one big question mark for me. As for the Laker game, the Warriors were well rested and it was their first game after the break while the Lakers had played the night before. All that being said, I yield to you on this one. Not a bad play if you know Portland well enough, which I don't.
